Friday greetings supurr pals

Firstly we must apologise fur the absence of our Pirate Q&A on The Tuesday Tails segment, sadly the P.A. went and got herself near some germ ridden peeps and contracted the flu, while it's nearly gone, she still is weak as a kitten and in her own wurds, 'Couldn't fight her way out of a wet paper bag in a storm if she tried!'

We will endeavour to catch up offur the weekend and make next weeks segment a double episode.

In other news we woke up to a sprinkling of snow yesterday morning, it was white over.  The day before we had hail, sleet, rain, snow and high winds repeatedly throughout the day.  Luckily the wood-burner has been constantly fed and keeping the chill away.

The gardening has ground to halt too since the flu thing, but really it's been so cold outside nothing would have been done, so the flu this week is a blessing as next week the weather is warming up and could possibly reach a staggering 15c - I know don't faint as it's a veritable heatwave MOL MOL - so with a bit of luck we can make up fur lost ground, pardon the pun.

We have also had a couple of deliveries fur product testing and hopefully will be sharing our findings with mew in a couple of weeks.

Thankful on Thursday with Parsley

Today young Parsley Sauce is with us, sharing his uber thankfulness fur having such a beautiful shiny coat, he say's it's because he spends a lot of time primping and preening, and while this is fact he omitted to mention that the P.A. spends quite a bit of time brushing him, sometimes 3 times a day, as young Mr Sauce in all honesty is Addicted to Brush! MOL

The P.A. says he's fur feels like velvet, so she also calls him Mr Mint Velvet.  Seriously though what cat comes hurtling across the garden at light speed when a brush is waved at him? [Pansy]  There are also several types of brush employed, from supurr soft bristles to combs and massage varieties, and Parsley seems to like a combination of treatments on a daily basis. 

Are mew addicted to brush?  

As now I'm curious, as purrsonally I'm not a fan.  Smoochie enjoys it and gets a little too excited resulting in a back-hawk [mohawk], chest hawk and tummy hawk, this is when the phrase: Back Hawk Down comes into play! MOL  Snowie is also a rather keen and willing brushee, as is Humphrey.  Amber can take it or leave it and Angel Posie was a complete no-go-zone unless mew wanted to lose digits.  

This leads me to wunder, is it normal fur cats to be addicted to brush, or am I in the minority of not enjoying this hairy fairy fur inducing past-time?  

The P.A. also has this to say on the joys of brushing; 

If cat fur were currency she'd be a billionaire!  

She would also like to add this addendum; 

After carefully removing all traces of cat fur with a super sticky lint roller from my clothing every morning before I leave the house, by the time I get to work I can still look like I've rolled on the floor in a pile of it - what is this strange phenomenon?  Am I a cat fur magnet? Is it some predisposed condition and if so is it treatable? And forget using any type of lip-gloss unless you want to have fur-mouth! [Not a good look on anyone LOL]

Sorry we weren't here yesterday with Part 8 of our Pirate Q&A, but the P.A. has had the flu since Friday and we've been making sure she's been well looked after and kept warm.

Hopefully we'll see mew all on the morrow.

Salutations wunderpurr furriends

As mew can see we're all completely zonked!   All this gardening is really taking it's toll on us, and the new border at the back of the garden is still only one third completed,  but the good news is that it's fully planted with transplants from another area in the garden and the rest by bulbs, so at the moment it looks very strange with large patches of bare soil and the odd lonely plant - eeeeek -  we even sprinkled a box of mix seeds on it too just to make sure that we got it all covered!  Now all we have to do is wait and see if things are going to grow, hopefully giving us a rather wunderful display.

There is still so much to do, but we're soldiering on like good kitties should, apart from when we need to nap, eat, nap, eat and nap, that aside we're like gardening machines! MOL  

In other news the new laptop is set up and we're delighted that the P.A. can get on with the blog and all our correspondence forthwith, she says it's a really nice 'puter -  as long as she's happy we're happy.
