Colouring with Cats #86 ~ Getting Your OM on with Mandala's on Monday ~ Fudge says NO MORE MONDAY'S ~ They're So 2018!

Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furriends

  Fudge was having a bit of a bad fur day yesterday and decided that he doesn't like Mondays on any level anymore and boldly declared: NO MORE MONDAY'S, he said and I quote, "Jumpin' juniper berries dudes, what does a cat have to do to get a lie-in these days, the weekends gone before mew can blink?!"

I looked at the ginger floof and replied, "Dude, sadly Monday's are here to stay whether mew like or not," then having a little brainwave I said. "That is unless we have two Sundays in a row and go straight to Tuesday, what say mew?!"

So there mew have have it, this week at BBHQ we voted and decided that all future Mondays are abolished and we're having two Sundays back to back, which will be named:

Sunday One

and

Sunday Two

Don't mew just really love that idea? 

Mondays are so offur rated and so 2018! MOL

Anyhoo, we do hope mew've all have a totally pawesome weekend and that mew're ready fur the week ahead, so let's jump right in and start as always with our little breathing exercise, which we're sure mew all have down paw by now...  but if mew've furgotten, stop what mew're doing fur a moment and take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:

Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library on this sunny morning, afturnoon or evening depending on where mew are in the wurld.

So only two more reviews before I'm done fur the summer, as mew probably read last week that we're changing our programming schedule early this year.

We were going to start our new Friday feature on the 3rd May - next week, but then I noticed that I was at review No: 98 and so I said to the P.A. "I think I should really finish this season on my 100th review, what say mew old gal?"

The P.A. looked at me and replied. "Hmmm, you do have a valid point Amber and we could do a little give away with that signed copy of Bob The Street Cats book on your 100th review, that you've been quietly sitting on all these months!"

I gave her a rather sheepish look and said as brightly as I could. "Oh what a fabulous idea, why didn't I think of that!"  I did mutter some unmentionables under my breath and I gave the P.A. my most sincerest smile as I'd completely furgotten all about it - OOPS!

So my gorgeous furriends, the week aftur next, I'll be giving mew the chance to get your paws on a signed copy of Bob's book, so don't furget to stop by.

Now mew may remember I've reviewed five of H Y Hanna's previous series; Oxford Tea Room Mysteries [mew can find all the reviews on my Book Review page & I've still got four to go], so when I saw this pop up in my Audible news feed the other day I just had to have it.

As mew know I don't do spoilers, so I'm not going to be giving anything much away apart from, yes there is a cat, plus a dog too. 

I think H Y Hanna writes really fun books, nothing too complicated with just the right ingredients fur a delightful afternoon read.  Plus as mew know I love a long series, and so far this one has five, so I still have four more to get my paws on and review just fur mew! MOL

Time To Give Those Little Grey Cells a Workout on Brain Training with Professor Basil P.H.D. #60 Throwback Purrsday with Me Up The Tree

Happy Purrsday guys

Greetings pawesome pals, my throwback Thursday pic today is me in the garden and up the tree in the courtyard from June 2012!  

OH MY HOW TIME FLIES! MOL

Mew know I remember that day quite vividly, the P.A. wanted to go out and she was trying to get me to come inside which resulted in a wild chase around the garden and a mad dash up the tree, and here's the resulting picture. Mew can see I've got my really naughty face on! MOL

In the end she resorted to bribery and got the treat tin, which was obviously my kryptonite back in the day and I got caught.  Though offur subsequent years I did learn to resist the lure of the tin being shaken much to the P.A.'s chagrin, but then we do have to keep our hoomans on their toes, complacency is no good fur anypurrdy.

It's time to get those little grey cells wurking.
