Epic Wednesday Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up!
How's your week going?
If mew remember last week, it had been raining, like we never thought it was going to fluff off. We were actually going to get the pirate ship out of the lagoon on Level 8 and go for a sail around the village, but then ... then ... after a particularly blustery and squally Friday, a double rainbow appeared.
Yes, we know there's only one rainbow visible in the photo; the second was too faint to capture on film.
Anyhoo, the weather dried up, it was a little drizzly late Caturday afternoon, but on Sunday we had a pawsitively heady 14 degrees Celsius. Monday was sunny, Tuesday sunnier, and today it's predicted to climb to an astounding 16 degrees.
Well, with that news mew can tickle my toebeans and roll me catnip! MOL
This was the moon of Friday night, and I shall use the term Eric and Flynn's Mum mentioned in a comment a while ago. She said, and I quote, "This is a fingernail moon."
Wow, don't mew love that expression, it's EPIC!
So, there mew have it, rainbows and a fingernail moon, sun, warmth, very little rain, the bulbs are sprouting at a rate of knots, and the nights are drawing out.
So we've got oodles of happy, content vibes happening right now at BBHQ - it doesn't take a lot! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at what the rest of the heathens have been up to this week.
First up in the news
Parsley's Epic Find
Parsley couldn't believe his luck, normally everypawdy goes out of the patio doors during the winter months, but the other day, he decided he wanted to go out the back door, and he found this one lone sprig of catnip that survived the winter.
He was feeling so lucky, while Fudge below missed out completely! MOL

Next up in the news
Fudge Pawtrolling The Garden
Fudge went to check the catmint in the millwheel. He was deeply disturbed as the P.A. scalped it a few days ago.
He was not a happy camper. #ohdear
Bet he wishes he had gone out the back door instead!!! MOL
In other news...
Smooch Loves His Spidery Basket
So, mew may or may not remember; it depends on whether mew were here in January. The P.A. was washing all the blankets and snuggle mats around the house. She works through this endless task every few weeks.
Anyhoo, the basket under the gazebo, this one, with Smooch in. The day she wanted to wash all of these, Smooch was adamant it wasn't happening, because he was in there.
This is where he hangs out for hours at a time, and he was just drying out after a wander through the wet plants the other day.
So we're going to make mew laugh now, the P.A. went to pull the blanket out on the weekend, when he wasn't in it, and there was a fluffing ginormous spider peeking out from the side of the blanket.
Yep, the blanket didn't get washed again, can't think why??!!! MOL
And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Melvyn's modelling the final Valentine bandana today ~ Red hearts with red fringing
Doesn't he look cute?
Sorry, the camera just isn't working at the moment. It seems rather odd; maybe it's time for a new camera! MOL
As soon as we get the videography back on track, Melvyn will be back on the catwalk properly.
That's us done for today. Amber will be back on Friday with another meowvellous book, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

Parsley, Fudge and Smooch, it's nice to see mew all today. Parsley ... high five on finding the nip!
ReplyDeleteMelvyn, we love that scarf on mew, dude. The fringe is so fashionable.
We tend to call this a Cheshire Cat Moon, it looks like the grin without the cat.
ReplyDeleteYou win some catnip, you lose some catmint. Oh, well.
As for the spider, he’ll move on, I promise. If I were there, I’d move him for you.
Nice modeling, Melvyn!
Lovely photo of the rainbow and fingernail moon. I wish your improving weather would reach us. Yesterday was sort of okay, but today is overcast and dreary. At least it is not raining!!
ReplyDeleteWell done on finding the nip, Parsley. Poor Fudge, but at least he gave us a good view of his floofy tail. I would be beating a hasty retreat from Smooch's basket too. Maybe he recruited the spider to keep his blanket safe. Looking good, Melvyn!
Rainbows and kitties! What more do we need. Wonder if the spider woulda enjoyed a bath, mol.
ReplyDeleteLooking good gang! Hey, that rainbow sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your kitties. They are most good looking.
ReplyDeleteI linked this post to my Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to all the kitties and love and hugs to mom. ♥
😎 Cool pictures! Love the rainbow, and the moon; and all the kitties, of course! Melvyn looks extra spiffy in that bandana!

ReplyDeleteScreaming would ensue if I'd seen that spider!
