Pet Peeves With Parsley
Wouldn't it be a wunderpurr wurld if effurything were purrfect?
I hear mew, but sadly its not and effuryday who knows what's going to ambush us and spoil our mood, so that is why I'm here to give mew a chance to vent your frustrations, get it off your fur, release all that pent up purrplexion in safe space, which is totally non-judgmental, where mew're free to say what mew want and its all ok... fur example Fudge is frustrated this week...
Fudge's highly complex research into whether hoomans land on their feet or not, finally came to a rather abrupt finish when his last unwitting test-subject failed to complete the test aftur being pushed launched tossed thrown... hang on... I've got it now... aftur being carefully escorted off a high beam.
He was hoping to have his findings published in the prestigious paper

Sadly due to the outcome of his research he is now forced to go back to the drawing-board and start afresh with a new project:-
WHY HOOMANS CAN'T FLY
And thus far he has this to say... "Hoomans are not designed to fly..."
Yep that was it, as we were cut short due to a catastrophic wing malfunction on his furst test subject.
But anyhoo, moving on Fudge feels so much better that he's been able to have a little vent here today... so my question to mew is this...

DeleteI don't understand why I have to take the car every time my human and I go somewhere. I don't mind the plane - why can't we do that instead when I have a therapy visit, or I'm going to the pet store?

DeleteAnd in the memory box of petcretary's head...she remembers that in 1991,in May, when oldest unfurbro was 7 months old, her Simba (an angel now for many years...); well he was at the top of the stairs on the landing, and she opened the door to go down, holding baby unfurbro...and Simba tried to go in the forbidden bedroom...so she tried to shoo him away with her foot, but...um...but she missed, kitty went in the bedroom, petcretary fell hard, down those 6 steps to the landing and crashed against the wall, hitting the windowsill with her back. She still was holding baby unfurbro...who was screeching by then...and she could not yell for help as she had no breath, it was knocked out of her...eventually she managed to get up and proceed as she had originally planned...with a furry sore back, and some frightening memories...years later in 2006, an ex-ray for something else showed an old fracture in her spine...exactly at the spot where she fell against that windowsill...OMC:(

Da lack of bacon is my biggest pet peeve.

DeleteThis is a great idea, my mom gives me a lot to gripe about. She killed my pot of cat grass that my Grammie bought me. ( Phoebe here).

DeleteWe have all tested our humans for their ability to fly and land on their feet by tripping them when they are on the stairs. Each and every time, they fail the test. Our biggest pet peeve is that Mom and Dad take the birds that Misty May delivers to the caio for us away from us. PFFFFT! Oh and that is a HUGE peeve fur sure, robbery of fast food delivery, guys mew need to seriously find another drop off point! XOX

Rumpy, that indeed is a most purrplexing peeve, as adult cats we deserve to choose when and where we want treats, and if we want treats all day then we should have them fur sure! XOX
DeleteOur biggest pet peeve is that we have to wait to get food in the morning. The mom should get outta bed when we jump on her to feed us!

ReplyDeleteSorry your experiments didn't result in the conclusions you had hoped for - but you should have known humans are just plain klutzy! Most of our Pet Peeves are with humans not pets! Mostly it's not cleaning up poop in public areas - there is no shortage of that bad behavior and it really pisses (no pun intended) us off.

Hey guys thanks fur stopping by, oh wow mew guys are so right, that's seriously peeve-inducing behaviour, it piddles us of too, in fact recently in our little village there was a campaign as peeps weren't picking up their K9's poop either - we renamed the place DOGSHIT!!! #truestory XOX
