Colouring with Cats #78 ~ Getting Your OM on with Mandalas on Mondays ~ The Catnip Is Hanging On In There!

Fabulous Monday greetings gorgeous furriends

It's been a bitterly cold weekend and last week, we were supurr lucky to miss out on the snow, and mew don't know how happy that makes us! MOL

Though on Thursday, we had a complete foggy whiteout with a supurr frost with -8C and we were rather eager to see if the catnip was ok, and here's Smooch with the latest gardening report.

"Dudes and dudettes, it looks like the catnip is ok fur now, but if we get any snow I think it'll be curtains!" said Smooch aftur a thorough examination, up close and real purrsonal.

And there mew have it, the catnip is still a go, so mew know who to call if your winter reserves are running low, plus we have several cases of the dry stuff too! MOL

Anyhoo, we do hope mew've all have a totally pawesome weekend and that mew're ready fur the week ahead, so let's jump right in and start as always with our little breathing exercise, which we're sure mew all have down paw by now...  but if mew've furgotten, stop what mew're doing fur a moment and take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:

Breathe in
Breathe out

Breathe in
Breathe out

Breathe in
Breathe out

Smooch is here again to offur mew assistance in getting your OM's on and Zen Harmonies happening, so just press play, close your eyes and follow his instructions.

Don't mew feel better already?  I know we do!

  1. I am glad your catnip survived!
We only had a dusting of snow but a lot of heavy frosts.
Once again my Jasmine decided to get loaded in buds during the winter instead of waiting for spring. Even though it was wrapped in fleece those buds are looking very brown and sorry for themselves.
    The mandala is pretty.

    1. Oh us too, we're just hoping that we're not going to get a deep freeze later in the month and it gets annihilated! MOL

We hope the Jasmine recovers, we remember your pics from last years deep freeze! XOX

  3. Mom and I are OMMING away our Monday morning! Thank heavens your nip has survived any frostiness that came its' way. We had 4 inches of snow last weekend and most of it is now GONE but it's still cold at night. Too early to see anything budding here though....guess we'll just have to be PATIENT!

    Hugs, Teddy

  12. Ahhh, goody goody, the nip is good!
But yes that frosty stuff called snow can wreak havoc on those tender shoots. Ours is all smashed down ;and when the snow melted this week, Benji jumped in the garden and tried to dig it up:(
There were new beginnings at its base, which petcretary hopes she rescued enough to re-establish it...
Smoochie, we need you here to tell those pups here to stay out of the garden.
