Wunderpurr greetings fabulous furiends

Today we're sharing one of our *sponsored posts with mew from the fabulous peeps at...

...who contacted us a couple of weeks ago and asked if we'd like to try some of their supurr products and when we saw what they had on their website, we were so excited and even more so when a huge box arrived at BBHQ.

Today is the first review of three, as we got three different products to test, try and use here at BBHQ - how exciting, epically exciting!!!

So let's show mew what was in the box.

The Drinkwell® Butterfly Pet Fountain

Fudge was ecstatic when he saw we'd got a water fountain to review, we'd only been looking for a new one just a few weeks ago, so this was absolute serendipity that one should be in the box. #bestsurpriseever

Let's Unbox It

Here's effurything that was in the box.

 We love that colour!

Installation:

Rather than fill the post with oodles of pics we decided to make a video today; so sit back, relax and watch us assemble the fountain and then Fudge lapping it up while Melvyn didn't know what to make of it!

or click to watch here direct on YouTube.

As mew can see, it took minutes to assemble and set up. Obviously, we washed and dried it before use. When we furst turned on the water pump it was a little noisy, but aftur a couple of minutes it settled down and all mew could hear was the gentle trickle of the water which was very relaxing indeed.

Our closing thoughts

We had been looking for a new fountain for quite a while, and in all honesty we hadn't seen this purrticular one.

So what did we think to the Drinkwell® Butterfly Pet Fountain, we actually thought it was epic.

Why did we like it?
*It's made from BPA plastic*
*It was supurr easy to set up*
*Cleaning it was simple with no awkward unreachable parts*
*The water flow /trickle off the butterfly is in the 'goldilocks' zone of just right*
*It's supurr quiet*
*We loved the oval dish design and the shallow top tray*
*It uses a replaceable carbon filter which lasts up to 4 weeks*
*It has a 1.5L capacity*
*It's suitable for our smaller K9 friends too*

There's isn't anything we don't like, it's a supurr fountain, great design and Fudge says he loves it, especially since he doesn't have to sit next to the kitchen tap and meow for it to be turned on now! MOL

  2. We have a Drinkwell fountain here, too (Gracie LOVES it). It does not have a butterfly like yours, though. That's EPIC!

  3. That is a lovely looking fountain and the butterfly is so cute. Fudge really enjoyed it. Some cats prefer water trickling rather than a bowl. Eric was one, but he also liked to try and dig the water out of the bowl part.

  4. Awesome fountain, though dad says he's not sure if he got me one it would make me stop wanting to go out on the deck to lick up the rain every time it falls.

  10. Ooh, I WANT a pet fountain, but The Hubby grumbles about cleaning and electricity and stupid stuff. This one might just be the answer; thank you!

  13. Wow, Fudge knew exactly what to do. We used to use a fountain here, but, um...well, it had to go cause I Pipo pawed all the water out...seems I like to drink water with my paws...and playing in it is so much fun, too, tee-hee! I do drink lots from the bowls that are around the house.
Years ago, when the fountain was new, Angel Toki went to have a drink...he was ill and not diagnosed as yet, and the poor dude about fell into the bowl...after that it was moved to a more open area so it could be better monitored.

Your fountain is quite unique with the butterfly drinking spout/spigot.

  14. We have a drinkwell of different design and LOVE it. Nothing like a fountain to make sure we get our water. Oh, right Dad, a bowl in the sink too because we are crazy cats

  15. This has been so useful to watch! Thankyou for sharing your thoughts on this fountain. We have been debating getting one for Eric and worried about the noise as he's a sensitive soul! Will absolutely be checking one of these out. *Adds to basket haha!
