Wednesday Greetings Pawesome Furriends
And welcome to our weekly news round-up
This week is The B Teams Annual VET check-up with booster jabs. We go two at a time over 3 days, and the good news is:
Smooch is great, and he hasn't put any weight on at all, although the VET did remark that he looked rather grumpy yesterday.
Parsley is great, though he's put 300 grams on, but then he is bulking right now and was really pleased at his gains. He's a really big cat, not fat just solid.
Pandora is great, although she is getting a little plaque on her teeth, but nothing to be overly concerned about right now and she's not put any weight on either.
Fudge Has News
And Fudge is great, and his weight is the same too, however he has some gum issues which have cropped up in the last few months and needs 4 teeth removing, which we're pretty upset about, and he is too.
Melvyn and Amber are at the VET this morning at 8.45am so we'll have to give mew their health check status next week. But paws-crossed they'll both be great too.
So after we've heard about Melvyn and Amber we'll make a plan for Fudge to get his dentistry done asap. So we'll keep mew updated about that, poor Fudge, we really feel for him.
And finally today...
Smooch Isn't Sharing
Smooch says the kicker toys are all his, and nopurrdy else can use them ever, as mew can imagine this caused a small riot in the sitting room and the *water canon [*water spray gun for misting the plants! MOL] had to be deployed to disperse the unruly mob! #truestory

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Smooch re. the kick sticks. Using the water canon on Mrs H has worked wonders to start the food service off on time, too.

If'n maybe Fudge didn't eat "fudge"? Chocolate isn't good for teef, makes holes in them ... sigh. Smooch you are looking very cute, but really ... "all" the toys ... ?
ReplyDeleteGlad kitties are doing well. Sorry Fudge needs 4 teeth removed --- Ouch!! That doesn't sound like fun. Smooch, I know you like the kickers and want to keep them all to yourself but would you consider sharing with Daisy Mae And I Purrty Please with lots of chocolate chips s and sprinkles on top.

ReplyDeleteSorry about Fudge's gum issues. Eric developed gingivitis from an early age. We religiously brushed his teeth daily which he didn't mind, but he still had to have 5 or maybe 6 teeth out.

ReplyDeleteWe send purrs for Fudge. That is yucky. I am a solid kitty too and now hover around 14 pounds. When I was younger I was 15+ and the vet, and Dad, always commented on how heavy I was. The family are lucky I am a lover and not a fighter MOL
