Welcome To
With Amber ~ The Best Library Kitty in the entire Mewton~Clawson Parish
*waves paw*
Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library
Well it's been a propurr washout here in Mewton-Clawson all week, but the good news is the roof above the library finally got fixed. I don't know about mew guys, but we're finding it increasingly difficult to get builders, roofers, joiners or plumbers - it's like they don't want a job, tres bizarre for sure! MOL
Anyhoo before I get started on this week's top book pick selection, I just want to let the winner and runners-up of Pandora's and my Birthday Give-Away know, that we posted your items yesterday as we said we would. It should take between 7 to 10 days to get to the USA from here via airmail, so do keep an ear up for the postman later on next week.
And now I think it's time to share this weeks book.
DECISIONS DECISIONS DECISIONS
I didn't know which one to read furst! MOL
**Furstly I have to let mew all know that I was
given a free copy of this book series in exchange for a fair review**
My purrsonal signed copies of Vince's pawesome adventures
Here's Small
Snippets of the Book Blurbs:
Catnap Stories is a series of children's books inspired by the adventures and mischievousness of cats, as well as the author's love of foreign languages and faraway travels.
Vince Goes to Paris BK 1
This first story
takes you on the journey of a little kitten called Vince, how he met a little
girl who would become his lifelong friend.
Vince Discovers the Golden Triangle BK 2
This story takes you
on a journey to one of the most incredible places in the world; India. A vast,
beautiful, culturally diverse and ancient land.
Vince Discovers the Wonder of Seville BK 3
This time the story is set in springtime in the beautiful and historic
city of Seville in Andalusia, Spain.
>^.^<
So what did I think of Vince's adventures? I thought they were absolutely fabulous, and what's better than books about adventurous cats who travel to beautiful cities and visit famous landmarks while there.
Plus mew get to learn foreign language phrases too as the stories progress; such a fantastic premise for younger readers to assist learning in a really fun way, especially with the delightful illustrations to accompany each story. It makes learning effortless, and each book has a little glossary at the back, which I think is epic.
So in essence mew've got a little bit of geography, a little bit of foreign language and a supurr cute kitty, who the reader also learns about how to care for; a 3 in 1 winner!

Brilliant if mew've got younger readers thirsty for knowledge, and they'd make a purrfect pressie any time of the year.
Visit Vince et al online at: www.catnapstories.com and his pawesome books are available at most online book retailers worldwide, but do check his website to find out exactly where mew can get your copies from.

Sadly it's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill; so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just fur mew. And don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
We'll be back tomorrow with a brand new What's In The Box? post, so mew won't want to miss out on seeing what fab goodies we got surprised with this time!
In the meantime

ReplyDeleteThese are the sorts of book that we really must see more of for the younger reader . . .and maybe for the older readers such as Mrs H who just loves and appreciates a well thought out adventure and great pictures.

ReplyDeleteThose look fun. I will have to keep them in mind for when my great niece gets older. XO
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the wonderful review. It is super important as an independent, self-published author to receive such comments. I really appreciate your support and hope to write many more adventures in the future
