Anyhoo it's time for us to go and nap, as we've been struck with a severe case of apathy the last few days and the only way to get out of this funk is to go nap some more!

And before we forget, Amber's post is finally up, the auto-thingy-mah-doodle sadly didn't post her latest review on time, but neffur fear all is how is should be now, so go see what she thought to dragons!

We hope mew have a totally terrific day with lots of snoozy snuggles

Feline Fiction on Fridays #130 at Amber's Library featuring **The Boy Who Grew Dragons** by Andy Shepherd PLUS Friendly Fill-Ins

Supurr salutations pawesome furiends

*waves paw*

Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library.

How have you been this week?  All good I hope, there's not much to report from the Mewton-Clawson Library, there's a tinge of apathy in the air which is proving quite hard to shake, that and the warm weather makes for a combination of not getting a lot done...

Feline Fiction on Fridays #130 ©BionicBasil® Chilling with Amber

... other than snoozing in my basket at the top of the stairs, which I must admit is rather nice and very enjoyable.

Hopefully, the apathy will disperse and I'll get my teeth into something soon, such as tidying up the library.  But if not, then so what, it'll still be there next week! MOL

Sometimes it's good to do nothing at all...

This week we're also joining in Friday Fill-ins with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. If I couldn’t live in my country, I would live in ______________________.
2. I wish I had kept _________________________ from my childhood.
3. I would choose _________ over _________.
4. _________ doesn’t matter in the long run.

The P.A.'s answers are...

1. If I couldn’t live in my country, I would live in Australia, as I love the country, the warm weather and my husband was born there.

2. I wish I had kept ??? from my childhood. This is a tough one as I have a lot of my stuff from being a child; all my books, teddies/soft toys, some art, games, etc... nothing else springs to mind, what I do wish is that my hooligan cousins hadn't broken my Magic Roundabout Playground when I was 5; they forced the train the wrong way around the track and broke the carousel, I was so upset. I still have certain elements from it though.

3. I would choose health over wealth, but both is always nice.

4. Being number one, or first or top in anything doesn’t matter in the long run - what matters is you're happy doing what you're doing, and it doesn't matter a fluff what anyone else thinks. If you really love what you do, and it brings joy, satisfaction and happiness you've literally won the proverbial jackpot.

And now I think it's time to share this weeks book.

The Boy Who Grew Dragons

by

Andy Shepherd

Here's A Small Snippet of the Book Blurb:

When Tomas discovers a strange old tree at the bottom of his grandad's garden, he doesn't think much of it. But he takes the funny fruit from the tree back into the house - and gets the shock and delight of his life when a tiny dragon hatches! The tree is a dragonfruit tree, and Tomas has got his very own dragon, Flicker.

>^.^<

This is a furst for me, I've neffur reviewed a book about dragons before, even though I've read many offur the years.

So let me say this; it's fun, colourful, entertaining plus has excellent role models and values. It features great characters and some humour, with an easy plotline in bite-sized chapters. There are also some very cute illustrations throughout which really help bring the story alive, I thought these were epic especially the full page and double-page ones.  And if mew effur wundered what it would be like to have a pet dragon, I think this book lays it all out, scales and all! MOL

A top read for youngsters, ideal for middle-grade and up, and if you like dragons what's not to love!  This would make a purrfect read during lockdown, my advice try it.

Time To Give Those Little Grey Cells a Workout on Brain Training with Professor Basil P.H.D. #64 Throwback Purrsday with Me Way Way Way Back In 2009

Brain Training with Cats ©BionicBasil®

Happy Purrsday guys

Welcome to another fab Brain Training sesh today.

And this week I'm sharing a throwback from way, way, way back; in fact, it was almost another lifetime ago... the 12th July 2009 to be precise, and can mew guess who I was looking at?  At that time The B Team was only 5 strong as we'd just lost Miss Mildred Marbles in January of that year - so the team consisted of:

Amber, Humphrey, Posie, Snowie and myself of course, therefore mew've got a 1 in four chance of guessing right! MOL

Brain Training with Cats #64 ©BionicBasil® Flashback with Basil to July 2009

I really like this picture;  we'd just finished the rock garden to the left of me at Easter and I used to love hiding out among the little stone circle [the mini-henge is still there today] and there was a gorgeous little Acer tree that was purrfect fur sitting under when it was hot and sunny... ahhhh those were the days eh!

Well if I'm honest it seems like only yesterday, and if we were to talk about quantum physics it purrobably was! MOL

It's time to get those little grey cells wurking.

Here's the answer key to last weeks sudoku #31

A quick reminder before we go... don't furget to join in the supurr Thankful on Thursday Blog Hop which is hosted by Brian's Home.

Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

I hope mew enjoy today's puzzles and Amber will be here tomorrow with a fab book, how do I know... I was purrched on the sofa in the catservatory while she was reading it - but don't tell her as she doesn't know I was there! MOL  So do stop by if mew have time, until then...

Keep calm, stay safe and stay at home
