Welcome To
With Amber ~ The Best Library Kitty in the entire Mewton~Clawson Parish.
*waves paw*
Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library
fur yesterday!
Oh my cod, can mew believe it's Wurld Book Day again, seriously it comes around that fast these days one barely has time to catalogue ones library and straighten up the stacks!
So today rather than have just one review of the kitty genre, I asked young Melvyn, as he is my library slave, oops sorry intern to choose his Top 10 Book Picks for this years selection in any genre at all.
And here is my pawesome littleslave intern and his fantastical selection of books...
And here is my pawesome little
Well done young Melvyn!
I was just reading the blurb on the back of Outwitting Squirrels, [not that we have any in our garden, but I have heard that there's a rather large colony gathering offur the fence and we definitely don't want another Fast, Furry & Dangerous scenario breaking out] when young Melvyn sidled up to me and asked.
"Amber when are mew retiring, and will I be inheriting the library? Because I really do like all these books and I think I'll be an excellent custodian!"
I knew it... I fluffing well knew that little upstart was going to try and usurp me and my books... on that note, I have to go and lock myself in the store cupboard while I explode and use a lot of wordage completely unsuitable fur here!
I do hope mew enjoy this selection if mew decide to give it a try...
...and if mew've already read any/some of them, what did mew think?
* * *
Sadly it's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just fur mew. And don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
Until next time
Keep calm and read on
Keep calm and read on

Wow, I think I heard some of your murmurings over this side of the Pond, Amber!
ReplyDeleteI heard on the news this morning that there was a suspected earthquake in Mewton-Clawson. That must have been you exploding in the store cupboard then, Amber!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those books, that's pretty darn impressive!
ReplyDeleteguyz....ewe due noe squirrel can be az vizshuz az deer....trooth...N that bookz with de BURD on de cover.....WHOA !!!! ☺☺☺♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!, we appreciate you hopping in!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those great reads. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥
Hope to spend time reading this weekend; sometimes, it's hard to sit down to open a book!
ReplyDeleteWe love our library and all the great books waiting for us!
ReplyDeleteGood job Melvyn! You have potential. I am sure Amber would love an apprentice. XO
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to read and apparently neither does TW.
ReplyDeleteMelvyn was doing great, right up until he asked about taking over your job. My cat Jake doesn't know whether to be shocked or impressed. He's leaning towards impressed. Try to have a good weekend.
ReplyDeletePerhaps young Melvyn needs an important job. Like watching the books. You know, to make sure they don't escape or climb any trees ... Or, you can have him "supervise" the books when you aren't in your library (that way, you don't have to worry about him bothering you since one of you would always be in the library and the other not) :)
ReplyDeleteOutwitting Squirrels... Now is that an instructional manual or strictly fiction. Askin' for a friend. purrs
ReplyDeleteDefinitely got to keep an eye on the interns, MOL. When they get too cocky, send them up to litter collection and that will knock the stuffing out of them.
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of books there, and Mrs H and I have actually read some of those too!
Have a great week.
