Pet Peeves With Parsley
It's been quite some time since I was here with a peeve, but that must mean that things have been fine in general, aka peeve-free! MOL

Anyhoo the Peeve Factor has been pinged... let me begin...
I don't know if mew can tell in the picture, but I was so peeved on Caturday morning when I embarked on my usual garden safari; just let me set the scene fur mew... there I was in the neutral-zone aka the raised-beds in the courtyard.
So there I was in the neutral-zone, surveilling the garden when I spied something near the back fence that had just caught my eye, ok it was a mouse and it did look rather juicy and I thought to myself, that looks a rather fine specimen of a mousious meecer, I must go and inspect it more closely.
Now many of our regulars know we have quite a - Tabbies of Trout Towne please skip to the next paragraph - large burd population which visits our garden on a daily basis, and this beaked-fraternity mainly hangs out in the middle sector; the burd-feeding-zone aka B.F.Z. which I needed to cross to get to the lawn-zone and then onto the back fence where my mid-morning snack plump specimen of a mouse was in desperate and dire need of extremely close examination and serious observation.
Anyhoo, there I was cloaking-device engaged, fully invisible to the little peckers and I was just getting all revved up and about to cross the B.F.Z. when Smooch yelled. "Don't do it dude, your cloaking-device isn't wurking purroperly! Mew're rippling!"
Thank cod he told me otherwise I'd have broken the treaty, then fur and feathers would have been flying in all directions as we're not allowed to cross the B.F.Z. between 8am and 2pm on weekends - Basil signed the treaty way, way back in 2013 when the buzzards were circling, but more on that another time!
That's why I'm supurr peeved today, as I'll be spending the next 3 days in the bunker in Humphrey's old lab trying to figure out what went wrong with it and trying to fix it, and then **Fudge's Magical Menagerie** will come up from level 8 and want to join in and then all fluff will break loose!
**FYI That's the link to the last episode on our mega-adventure The Clockwurk Labyrinth, at the top of the post mew'll find the links to every episode in order; so if mew're getting a little bored in lock-down mode feel free to while an hour or two away reading our epically exciting story**

Oh, MY! Parsley, you didn't have the right vibes maybe to stay invisible?? MOL!
ReplyDeleteMaybe that fatso mouse will return thinking its safe:)
My peeve is the peeps are home way more than I am used to...and they don't give me much more attention that they did when they were 'normal' in their times here...
And I am tired of almost all the mews being about this corona stuff...I like nice quiet news, and not things that scare me and my peeps.
OK, Now that's off my chest...MOL!
Thank goodness Smooch noticed before it was too late! Disaster averted.
ReplyDeleteMy pet peeve is listening to momma whine about hoarders and being stuck at home. Like I'm not enuf company for her??
ReplyDeleteYes, ya gotta make sure you'll all cloaked up before initiating any pounce!
ReplyDeleteSweetie's pet peeve, is why does this lady always want to put her grabby hands on her?

It is awful when a cloaking device fails.
ReplyDeleteToo bad your cloaking device didn't work
