Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
It's been another warm week at BBHQ, and last week we thought summer was over, but no, it just keeps on giving! MOL
Sadly, as it was such a wet Spring, the dahlias, which normally are just getting ready to flower in the garden beds around the lawn, have rotted, so there are a few patches which need filling.
But, so it goes, at least the snapdragons are looking nice and colourful, and here's a couple in the courtyard for mew to feast your eyes on.
And yes, Parsley has his own little sign in the garden too! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

Fudge's Purrfect Pose
This was Fudge on Monday evening when he heard that the P.A. had bought some new treats and that he was going to be the chief taste tester! MOL

Smooch really loves being in the garden and adores rolling on the lawn. He was doing a spot of serious chillaxing here, with the incredible added benefit of earthing, too!

Check out this week's sunspot of the week
It's been really warm again the last few days, so we've been erring on the side of caution and finding sensible sunspots.
This was Pandora early on Monday morning, in the BBHQ courtyard, sitting in the dappled shade of the beautiful acacia tree.
We don't go out when it's hot, as we prefer to stay inside and have our fur ruffled in all kinds of lovely ways by the cool breeze from the fans.

ReplyDeleteI usually plant verbena along the edge of the raised bed, but this year the slugs (tiny little blighters) demolished the lot. Luckily I had a lot of snapdragons reseed from last year and used them to replace them.
