Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection, this week as it's New Years Eve we decided to share a supurr fun festive selfie and bip way, way up north to see the Northern Lights!

It was a bit fluffing cold, so we took the selfie and bipped off again! MOL

We'll be back on the stone circle trail next week, so don't panic as we've got some pawesome places to share with mew in the New Year!

 BeFunky was the best for today's selfie, and we think it turned out really well.

The effect was created with Befunky - AI Enhancer, Underpainting + colour changes to fill light and saturation.

We also turned this fab arty-farty picture into a puzzle, so do stop by the puzzle page and take the Puzzle Challenge, see if mew can beat our time of 10 mins 33 secs, we did find the sky at bit hard this week! 

We're off to snooze in front of the fire, Smooch is snoopervising lunch. He was a little hissed off last night as the P.A. cooked spaghetti bolognese, and Cat Dad went to dish up some of the mince, and then he was told that cats can't eat garlic, as she'd already put the fresh garlic in the pan! Oh Dear! MOL

FESTIVE PHOTO FAILS from The BBHQ Archive ~ OMC Mew Won't Believe What We Found!

Happy Festive Friyay Pawesome Pals

Today, as it's the last Friyay of the month and 2023, we're joining in the furbulous Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop.

And we thought we'd share some epically epic festive photo fails with mew from deep, deep, deep in the BBHQ photo archive, so the following selection is from way, way back in the noughties! 

We're featuring Angel's Humphrey, Posie and Snowie, as well as Amber and myself, so the original B Team from back in the day!

It was Catmas 2008 when a friend of the P.A.'s sent a Santa Paws jacket for us, and obviously, we had never worn anything like it, EVER!

Anyhoo, mew'll soon see what we thought of it! MOL

First up is Amber.

Amber will be so annoyed we shared this most unflattering photo.

She was not a happy camper, and let me tell mew, we think this is the incident which sparked the epic crotchiness! MOL

Next up is Angel Snowie.

Angel Snowie was the only one not to flop over and have a hissy fit.

And now it's my turn! MOL

Oh dudes, I had the biggest hissy fit ever! MOL

And finally, Angel Humphrey.

Angel Humphrey just collapsed on the floor like this and didn't move, he said. "Never again am I being subjected to that!"

Then he added.

"Just give me my flack jacket instead!"

It would have been impossible to put the jacket on Angel Posie, well let me say this, fingers would have been lost in the process! MOL

So here's an Angel Posie Photo Fail from December 2004.

Laser eyes at their finest, and I'm sure she would have incinerated the tree for being made to pose for this! MOL

1. The best part of 2023 was spending it with my hubby and of course, The B Team! 

2. My focus word for 2024 is WRITE! I've got several projects on the go that need completion - LOL - let's see if I can do it!

3. A new year is a great time to start a bit of decluttering and deeper cleaning. Both of these are on my to-do list.

4. You don’t have to wait for a new year to do anything, as in the famous words of NIKE; JUST DO IT!

The BBHQ Festive News Round-Up ~ Fudge, Melvyn and Parsley Checking out Their Catmas Tree, Smooch Checking The Santa Paws Sleigh, and Melvyn's Wearing This Weeks Top Pick Bandana

Welcome to the BBHQ Festive News Round-Up!

Well, we finally got the Catmas Tree up on Caturday teatime, and this year we decided to go with a white and gold theme. It turned out quite nice, and Melvyn is modelling it below! MOL

We had a supurr fun Catmas, Smooch was in charge of snoopervising lunch, and he dutifully sat in front of the oven watching the bird cook. The P.A. did remove him when it was time to start cooking everything else, as she said, "Dude, mew are seriously in the way, and are a health and safety nightmare right now!"

He promptly harrumphed and then went to snooze in front of the fire until his lunch was ready.

Melvyn tried to climb the Catmas Tree, but luckily he didn't get far, decided it was not worth the trouble, and promptly went to assault their purrsonal Catmas Tree instead - see story below! MOL

The B Team's purrsonal Catmas Tree with a queue forming for allotted time assaulting their tree.

They are quite civilised, and as mew can guess Fudge got first dibs on it! MOL

The P.A. has to stick all the velcro catnip toys and pom poms on again for the next kitty in the queue!

Mew wouldn't believe how much fun it is.

Smooch had to do a few last-minute checks on the Santa Paws Sled, just in case Santa Paws needed any help on Catmas Eve.
