What's In The Box BBHQ Review ©BionicBasil®

Happy Caturday Fluffies

Today we're sharing a *sponsored post with mew from the ameowzing peeps at...

...who contacted us a while ago and asked if we'd like to try some of their supurr products again, and we were so excited when a box arrived at BBHQ.

This is the final review of three, see the links below for the previous reviews, and today we're sharing the Laser Tail Automatic Laser Light Cat Toy, so read on to see what we thought.

So let's show mew what was in the box.

This was everything we received, and Fudge knew what he wanted to try!

Let's get started!

Setting Up:

The set up was supurr easy.

What's In The Box ©BionicBasil® PetSafe Laser Tail Toy - Fudge Setting Up The New Laser Toy

Fudge checked everything out before flipping the laser toy over and placing 3 AA batteries into the compartment before replacing the small battery cover.

And mew can clearly see in the middle photo on the bottom row, that there is a small round button to the left of the unit.

To start the fun, all mew do is push that button and place the Laser Tail toy on the floor, wheels down, obviously! MOL

Watch our video below to see how we got on, so sit back, chillax and hit the play button.

If for any reason to video doesn't play, please click here to watch direct on YouTube.

Our closing thoughts

The B Team are still getting used to the new Laser Tail toy, it is a little bit noisy, but it has a motor so it's not going to be silent.

Early indications suggest that this will definitely be a totally top paw addition to the toy box at BBHQ.

At the moment, they are following more than chasing, and they prefer a darker room for the laser toy to trundle around.

The great news is, that the toy works really well on the floors at BBHQ: from smooth wood through to heavy jute rugs, so the little robot can traverse between the different surfaces easily enough. It also is good at manoeuvring itself around the furniture and other obstacles. Plus, it has a 10-minute timer which switches off automatically.

It really is a nifty bit of kit, and it's been really entertaining watching The B Team interact with it. And as with the Laser Dot Dancing Cat Toy, we have to conclude that this is just as epic.

This is a totally top toy, and we give it ten out of ten paws as it:

has a 10-minute playtime

is supurr fun

is excellent for feline enrichment

is highly entertaining with or without pawrents in the room

increases daily exercise

nurtures natural hunting instincts

keeps your daily step rate up which is especially good for indoor kitties

prevents boredom and incites natural curiosity

plus it looks ameowzingly stylish too in gloss white

This toy ticks all the boxes, and mew only need 3 x AA batteries to enjoy hours and hours and hours of fun.

In summary

This toy is the cat's whiskers!

KoolKat

We would like to thank the supurr peeps at PetSafe for sending their ameowzing Laser Tail Automatic Laser Light Toy for us to try ~ THANK MEW FURRY MUCH!

Love To Read? Book Reviews with Amber at The Mewton-Clawson Library #201 featuring **The Wrong Side of The Claw** by Leighann Dobbs PLUS Friendly Fill-Ins + Photo Fails Blog Hop

Book Reviews with Amber at The Mewton-Clawson Library ©BionicBasil®

Hello gorgeous library guests

and

Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ

Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today, and guess what?

I had a little trip into the garden again.

Book Reviews with Amber #201 ©BionicBasil® Amber Takes Another Quick Trip into The Garden

I know, totally shocking, right?! MOL

But it was pretty warm in the shelter of the patio. I was headed to the potting shed as the P.A. has been growing some extra tasty cat grass, and I wanted to sample it before slobber-chops Fudge got to it!

Today the P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. In May, I may _____________________.
2. Ten years ago, I was _________________________.
3. I hope for a future in which _________.
4. I would probably last _________ days in solitary confinement.

The P.A.'s answers are...

1. In May, I may finally set up my copper pyramid. I purchased it in November last year and haven't set it up yet. In fact, I may set it up in the garden for the summer. If you're wondering what on earth is the P.A. doing with a copper pyramid? It is for meditation, it's 6ft high, and has a 4ft square base, its geometry is based on the taller Nubian pyramids, as the Giza-style mediation pyramid was too low to sit under, so I chose the taller version.

2. Ten years ago, I was MUCH YOUNGER! LOL

3. I hope for a future in which the governments stop feeding the world citizens with constant fear.

4. I would probably last quite a long time days in solitary confinement.

The Wrong Side of The Claw

Mystic Notch Cozy Mystery Series Book 7

by

Leighann Dobbs

Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:

When a string of robberies escalates to murder, Willa is baffled by the behavior of her sister, the county sheriff. Normally the gung-ho law woman would be all over the case, but she seems more interested in doing her nails and picking out jazz music instead.

Willa has no choice but to take it upon herself to investigate. After all, her sister’s reputation is at stake, and a killer is running loose around town. Plus she has a secret weapon—she can see ghosts. Talking to the spirit of a murder victim usually helps solve the case, but not this time. This ghost seems reluctant to help Willa out. Even her boyfriend, neighboring county sheriff Eddie Striker, can’t get the spirit of the victim to give them a straight answer.

Mew guys know how much I like this author and have reviewed many of her entertaining books, and this one is no exception. Yet, for the life of me, I don't know why I keep forgetting to review books 3 and 4, so I've booked them in for next month to make sure I finally do them.

Also, book 8 has been released on audio, so I might do that as well and finally finish the series to date.

See my other reviews here:

Book 3 A Mew to a Kill - not reviewed yet, booked in for 20th May 2022

Book 4 Paws and Effect - not reviewed yet, booked in for 27th May 2022

Whisker of a Doubt  Book 6

I really enjoy the pace of these novels. The evergreen characters are great and keep evolving with each book, plus relationships grow and the dynamics between the cast change.

The plot is well thought out and I liked that the cats get more interesting as each book progresses; in this one, they have their biggest role to date.

There are obviously red herrings galore, oodles of twists and turns to keep mew guessing who the bad guy or gal is.

In my opinion, the Mystic Notch Cozy Mystery Series is one of the very best cat cozy mysteries available. And I know I've said it before, but I am going to say it again because I can and I will, I think this is:

A TOTALLY TOP PAW READ

I really hope mew enjoy the book as much as I did if mew decide to read it.

It's time for me to say BFN or bye-for-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't forget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.

Join Melvyn and Fudge tomorrow with a fab review, and it's Smooch's 11th Birthday Pawty & Giveaway on Sunday, so get ready for some fun!

Until next time...

Keep calm and read more books

Welcome to The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up ~ We're Still The No2 Pet Blog in The UK, Melvyn Asks Are Our Comments Getting Through, And Parsley Inspecting The Flags

MidWeek News Round Up with The B Team ©BionicBasil®2022

 Epic Greetings Furiends

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

Hello lovely readers, it's fabulous to have your company at BBHQ today.

First up in the news this week

The top London agency Vuelio has announced its Top Ten UK Pet Bloggers for 2022, and the epically epic news is, according to their proprietary algorithm :

We're Still The No2 Pet Blog in The UK

As mew can imagine, we're truly delighted to be on the list and remaining at the No2 spot for the fourth year in a row is incredible.

Top 10 UK Pet Blogs Ranking

VuelioTop10Badge2022

And concatulations to Katzenworld for remaining in the No1 position, and to Athena, Cat Goddess for landing at the No7 position!

And many concats to all the other blogs on the list, mew are epic!

Next up in the news

Are our comments getting through?

Melvyn noticed at the weekend that there is a new comment form on some blogger blogs, and he couldn't seem to comment on some of the blogs with our regular blogger i.d., so he had to comment anonymously on a few.

The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up ©BionicBasil® Melvyn Asks Are Our Comments Getting Through

Also, sometimes when we comment on WordPress press sites, we get an error message and it's impossible to leave a comment.

So if mew're wondering why we aren't commenting, it's because we can't. We even try different combinations of emails and web addresses in the comment forms, and even that doesn't seem to make a difference.

But never fear we will continue to visit and try, and hopefully the interwebs Gods will let a comment through! MOL

And if mew like Melvyn's desk and chair, click here to see how we made it.

Finally, this week

As we mentioned on Sundays post it's the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June, so Parsley decided to get ahead of the game and find the flags we made for V.E. Day in 2020.

The BBHQ Mid-Week News Round-Up ©BionicBasil® Parsley Inspecting The Flags

He's also ordered some extra bunting too, and we're going to change the huge V.E. flag we made, so we'll share a little crafting post soon showing the transformation.

The BBHQ Mid-Week News Round-Up ©BionicBasil® VE DAY FLAG

We'll change the V to a Q so it will be QE 75 aka Queen Elizabeth 75.

So stay tuned for that!

Sorry we don't have time for any hot gossip this week, the P.A. is finally getting a haircut after 18 months, so we didn't have enough time to get everything done!

That's us done for today, Amber will be back on Friday with another fab book just for mew, and click here to catch up on ManCat Monday with Smooch.

Epic purrs
