First up, many, many apologies for missing last week's blog hops and commenting; things happened, and there was no more time. We'll try to catch up this week. So sorry about that!
Now, let's give mew the weather report. It has been rainy, showery, gusty, with random splodges of sunshine, plus a pawful of longer spells of sunshine but with a bitterly cold wind, so completely useless! However, apparently on Friday it's going to reach a supurr, mega, epic 17 Celsius, but if the wind is still cold, that will be as much use as a chocolate fireguard!
Oh, and before we head into the news, on the Sunday Selfies post, The J-Cats from Purr-sonally Speaking asked;
What are those little purple flowers?
The Forget-Me-Knots are about to burst forth around the garden, and some of the tulips are still taking their time. We'll see next week if things improve.
Now, let's look at this week's top stories...
First up in the news this week...
Parsley's Checking The Flowers
Here's this week's cat with tulips photo, and if mew look closely, Pandora is in the shot!
Yep, she was spying on Parsley as he was inspecting the flowers in the raised beds, and he had no idea she was watching him! MOL
Next up in the news...
Smooch Couldn't Be Fluffed
Smooch was in the garden, and he just couldn't be bothered with anything.
He said, and I quote, "I just can't be fluffed!"
So he parked up on the bench in the courtyard and took five while the sun tried to peak out - it didn't!
In other news...
Fudge's Snug As A Bug
While all that outdoor stuff was happening. Fudge made the sensible decision to stay on the sofa, as snug as a bug in a rug!
He said, and I quote, "Yeah, that outdoor vibe is not vibing with me today!"
And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Spring Freshness was the winner this week!
Which one should he model next?

What The Fluff ~ BBHQ Q&A Episode 2
Basil's Bunker Tour ~ Episode 2

Melvyn, #3...what say? EVERYBUDDY looks meowvuluss! And Mom says that she hasn't seen grape hyacinth in many many years. Loved this.
ReplyDeleteWe are having the same weather. It is bucketing down at the moment, in fact it looks a bit like sleet mixed in with it! It is supposed to clear away after 1pm... hmmm. All of the flowers are lovely. My MIL used to have a lot of grape hyacinths in her garden. Fudge has the right idea, who wants to go out in the wet and cold? Melvyn is looking surprisingly smart considering he had been indulging! I vote for #3.
ReplyDeleteNo kitties could give a fluff today, eh?
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for #5, Melvyn, but let's face it, handsome...you look good no matter what bandana you wear.
Number 5 for next week.
ReplyDeleteLove all the spring flowers and all the precious kitties.
I linked this post to my Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥
Lovely flowers and the kitties all look snazzy too, Melvyn especially! Can't decide for next week, Melvyn always looks good, so ...
