Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library.

Well I can't believe another week has just flown by, it's like I take a nap and it's Friday again! MOL

Anyhoo, today I thought I'd share a little throwback photo of me all the way back from 2004 when I was a wee, young whippersnapper. Before I inherited the Mewton-Clawson Library and all the responsibility that goes with it, no under I got crotchety as I got older.

Just look at that face, Puss in Boots from Shrek has nothing on me!

In fact, this particular photo won a competition on United Cats, I can't remember what it was for now, but I remember it won.

This week we're also joining in Friday Fill-ins with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs, don't forget to go hop along with them.
1. I would like to improve my ______________________________ skills.
2. My _____________ is _______________.
3. My current to-do list includes _________.
4. I finally _________.

The P.A.'s answers are...

1. I would like to improve my knitting skills, but sadly time eludes me, and so I will have to wait until the winter months when there's less to do.
2. My garden is so lovely, and I feel blessed to have been able to take a barren bit of land and turn it into something wonderful, and the birds love it, in fact I have one singing to me right now.
3. My current to-do list includes lists that are so long, I think I need 9 lives like a cat! But at the top of the list right now are: paint the chest of drawers in a lovely Bahama blue and put the crystal drawer knobs on.  Do lots and lots of weeding. Don't forget to write blog posts.  Go to work and do the accounts. Clean the house. Pot on the plants that are ready. Remember the bedroom needs decorating, and to buy new door furniture etc, etc, etc.... LOL
4. I finally decided to do my blog writing outside under the gazebo, and it's lovely writing in the garden, very inspiring.

And now I think it's time to share this weeks book.

Here's A Small Snippet of the Book Blurb:

Max, chief mouse-hunter at the Theatre Royal, is up to his whiskers in his first mystery! Max is a pampered cat, used to the finer things in life, until a fun mouse chase goes badly wrong and he finds himself scruffy and alone and hiding out at the Theatre Royal.

>^.^<

This is the furst of three books in Max The Detective Cat series.  I really loved the illustrations throughout, the story is charming and has delightful characters.  Max is taken from a privileged home to find himself alone in the heart of London and alone, OMC! But I'm telling mew the plot!

Anyhoo, supurr characters, great story and really fun to read aloud to youngsters.  If mew're looking for a charming book, this is right up your alley.

I loved it, and think it would make a great addition to any kitty lovers library, no matter how old mew are.

Try it, and then get the next two!

Next Friday I'm reviewing a rather special book by my pawesome friends, Peaches and Paprika, so don't miss that!

Until next time
