Hello gorgeous library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ
Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today, and what a week it's been at BBHQ. We've had one storm yesterday and another one is coming in today; today's storm is coming with 100mph winds, I'm hoping it skirts around Mewton-Clawson as I really hate the wind.
This was me and Pandora on Wednesday morning going for breakfast, it was my first breakfast and Pandora's second or maybe even third! MOL
I remember Basil would sometimes have four breakfasts, and he never put any weight on, but he did spend a lot of time hunting down the field.
Today the P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. It’s about time ______________________________.
2. An anecdote I like to tell is _______________________________.
3. I wish there was a way to _________ without _________.
4. Too many people take _________ for granted.
The P.A.'s answers are...
1. It’s about time I published something and finally, I have - see Amber's book review below! LOL
2. An anecdote I like to tell is; The time Basil caught a mole and left it for me as an offering in the middle of the rug in the sitting room. Or the other time he left me half a pigeon with entrails and a lot of feathers in the shower room. Not the kind of gifts I love, but you know what they say, it's the thought that counts! LOL
3. I wish there was a way to write books without typing, yes I know I could dictate it, sadly dictation doesn't work for me, but I was thinking more along the lines of thought transference, now wouldn't that be epic.
4. Too many people take time for granted. Sad but true; we never know how long we've got and time is the most valuable and precious commodity we have, spend it wisely with purrsons you love, and doing things you love.
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!
This week's top book pick is...

The Epically Epic Pet Journal lets you print your favourite photos to add to the different sections of the journal over the course of a year, and use your own cute stickers, colouring pens or pencils, glitter pens and other embellishments to really make the journal unique and as colourful as you want.
The Epically Epic Pet Journal is ideal for any pet, and each year start a new journal and create new, amazing memories.
Well, here I am reviewing a non-fiction book created by our very own P.A., who'd have thought she would go and create an A4 sized pet journal!
When I asked her why she'd decided to create a pet journal, she replied, "Because Amber, I wish I'd had something to document my life with Basil and all our other Rainbow Bridge kitties and all the current B Team memfurs too!"
And thinking about it, I can see her point, especially when she said, "I've got thousands upon thousands of photos of you and all The B Team on my phone, iPad and computer, yet very few of them are actually printed off and displayed or are easily accessible, and I would like a way to choose my favourite pictures to display so I can pick up one of the journals and look through all the amazing memories."
As I flicked through the pages, I really liked that there were practical sections to list: vet details. groomer details, pet sitter details, insurer details and emergency numbers. But my favourite parts were the more creative pages to add your favourite selfies, epically epic moments with my human, what I did for my pawlidays, my favourite things, and the special events pages to add photos for Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, birthday and Halloween.
And the P.A. said, "And even if your pet is already at the Rainbow Realm, you can still use the journal to create a beautiful memory book, and add all your notes, stories and pictures, so for me, I'll be creating one for Basil and the other kitties too."
The special events sections can be coloured in as well as adding supurr photos to each page.
There are monthly sections to add your favourite selfies and epically epic moments with your human, with enough space to write the date and any other info next to the picture.
The pawliday section is especially fun for pets who travel, there are 4 separate pawliday pages, and these can be used for day trips or longer vay-cays, and for stay at home pets, mew can create your very own stay-cation photos; whether that's by making a fun picnic in the garden for example or something fun indoors, these pages are really pawesome.
There are lined pages for making notes and writing other exciting info about the life and times of your pet, plus mew can add stickers and use coloured pens, pencils etc to really make the journal your own.
All in all, I think the P.A. did a really pawesome job on the pet journal and what's great is that it's suitable for any pet, at any age.
She's also creating a kids version without the vet, groomer, insurance and pet sitter sections, so kids can create their own journals about growing up with their pet.
At the moment, The Epically Epic Pet Journal comes in five colours with a cute printed glitter effect cover: Red, Pale Pink, Black, Teal Blue or Gold. We only have samples of the black, teal and pink - see below. They are lovely and if mew don't believe me, just ask Erin the cat Princess, she has one already!
It costs £7.99 and is available from Amazon print on demand.
All purchase links are universal and go directly to the Amazon Store of your country.
I know mew will think I'm totally biased as it's the P.A. who created it, but it is such a nifty idea and is purrfect for anyone who loves their pets and wants to create a simple, yet really special keepsake/memory book and build up a collection year after year of unfurgettable memories. It is also a wonderful gift for any age group and for any occasion.
TOTALLY TOP PAW!
