Hello gorgeous library guests

and

Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ

Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today, though as mew can see I am not amewsed today!

I can't decide if it's utter disappointment, or just pure rage right now.

And to make matters worse, Melvyn said I looked like I was chewing a wasp before hastily retreating as I cast my death-glare upon him.

Can mew believe that somepawdy moved my library stamp and didn't put it back in the exact place?

Neither can I, given that I have a big notice in the library stating most clearly in large, bold red letters that any items borrowed must be replaced in their exact and designated place on my desk. I even supplied a map to show where everything goes, and not only that, there are even labels and outlines stuck to my desk clearly denoting where each item lives, and still, somepawdy got it wrong.

When I say I'm miffed, I truly am MIFFED!

Mew know what this means now don't mew? Yes, it means I'm going to have to install security cameras in the library, and that means I've got to organise a fundraiser as Parsley has moved into digital currency and I can't get my mittens on any passwords to his crypto wallets COD DAMMIT!

Mew know what, I think I'm going to start playing the lottery, so if any of mew have any lucky numbers they'd like to share with me between 1 and 50, leave them in the comments and maybe I'll get lucky.

The P.A.'s answers are...

1. I am running low on cat food, and by low I mean I've proabaly only got a couple of months supply in. I've ordered another months supply just this week.

2. I never run out of cat litter, I always have about 5 months supply in stock.

3. I work best when alone and it's quiet.

4.  The war in the Ukraine caught me by surprise, after two years of on & off lockdown and all the stress that came with it, what kind of epic flufftard wants to start a war???? Like seriously dudes, as Basil would say, the world has literally gone mad.

Hector, The Cat! Time Travels to Mars

by

Jane  L. King

Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:

For the first of his nine lives, Hector time travelled to ancient Egypt. For his second life, he time travels to Mars. Late in the 21st Century cats from Earth time travelled to Mars and established a new world for themselves. They called this new world, Catopia

Will Hector be able to survive in this new world?

What challenges and adventures will he have?

**Furstly I have to let mew all know that I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair review**

This is the second book in the Ten Lives of Hector The Cat Series, I reviewed the first book here back in November 2020.

Hector is back and this time he has even more friends with him. After not having any adventures for a while he is spurned into action after meeting a one-eyed, pirate lady cat called Vanilla Butty.

In this book, his time-travelling adventures take him to Catopia formerly known as Mars, and no this Catopia has nothing to do with the planet we visited in our epically epic adventure The Last Big Jolly.

Mew know I don't like to do spoilers, so I'm going to say this, if mew read the first book and liked it, mew'll really enjoy this one too, plus like book one it also has some really lovely full-colour illustrations throughout.

A top paw read for younger readers, and a really fabulous gift for anypawdy who loves cats, time travel and space!

I really hope mew enjoy the book as much as I did if mew decide to read it.

It's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.

Until next time...

Keep calm and read more books
