Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
The weather has been glorious at BBHQ over the last few days, and the alliums in the new corner garden have bloomed, just look at these, aren't they purrty?
Such a vibrant shade of purrple!
And here's a close-up, because we know mew want one! MOL
The gorgeous frilled tulips are now long gone, and the alliums are taking pride of place at the moment. There are lots of other flowers to emerge yet, although the P.A. can't remember what she planted, and is looking forward to seeing what blooms in the coming months.
There's been a lot of weeding happening, as they've just exploded everywhere, and we've also been planting some new plants which have been grown on since being delivered as small plugs earlier in the year, so with a bit of luck the BBHQ garden will be blooming marvellous this summer.
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
First up in the news this week
Three Cats One Small Box
What a dilemma, one small box and three cats.
All we needed was somepawdy to start playing some fun mewsic, and we could have all scrambled to see who got in the box first when the mewsic stopped!
Mewsical boxes are a go at BBHQ for the next suitable box to arrive! MOL
Next up in the news
Smooch and Parsley Pondering Which Way To Go Next
After all the box excitement, Smooch headed into the courtyard to see what Parsley was doing, and then they couldn't decide which way to go next!
In the end, they both went in separate directions with Parsley heading to the gazebo for a snooze on the sofa, and Smooch heading to the main gates to be the BBHQ watch cat for the afternoon.
Finally this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Well, it was a tie on last weeks voting between the Pickly Catcus and the Stars and Moon bandanas. So the P.A. placed both on the kitchen island and Melvyn broke the tie by choosing the Prickly Catcus!
Doesn't he look cute, not prickly in the slightest!
We tried a new video feature this week, and mew can check out Melvyn strutting his stuff on:
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new bandana selection for May, and this month mew've got five to choose from.
The options from the top left in a clockwise direction:
1. Stars and Moon
2. Echinacea Blooms
3. Tea Party Special
4. The Cute Caticorn
5. The Prickly Catcus
There's only the Stars and Moon bandana left for next week, and we'll also be sharing the new picks for June, there will be four brand new ones to choose from!
EXTRA, EXTRA!

ReplyDeleteYour garden looks pretty despite the weeds trying to take ove.r
ReplyDeleteWe are loving that catcus bandanna, Melvyn! Your garden looks amazing, and we wonder what happened next in that box photo. :)
ReplyDeleteKitties, Lynn says hoomans have a fun game "musical chairs" so you could do musical box! I love your large flower area. Much bigger than Lynn gave me and her pots. She gets deer too much and out in the front flower bed, she gets nasty large yellow slugs! Don't know what they are but I guess she really gets disgusted with 'em. Melvyn, you always look handsome to me with your modeling. I will do some cat yodeling fur you. Precious
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms. Looking good Melvyn. I guess it is the stars for next week. Musical box sounds like a fun game. XO
ReplyDeleteDid you all get in the box? Cute shot.
ReplyDeleteI bet I can pick the right bandana this week. I pick the only one left.
Have a purrfect day and rest of the week. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥
The STARS one...please wear that! And the garden is gorgeous. Not too strong a word for it. Those flowers are something my mom has not seen. Beautiful work by your mom! You mean NO one got in the box?
ReplyDeleteThe alliums are a beautiful colour. I think you will need a rota for the box.
ReplyDeleteThe garden looks fantastic, I do love š purple! The kitty pictures and Melvyn in the Catcus bandana, love those too! Looking forward to seeing Stars and Moon next!
