Hello furbulous library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ on Good Friday!
Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today. And I had planned a total eggs-stravaganza, but sadly, that all fell to pieces.
I'm so sorry for the lateness of today's post. The P.A. has had a horrendous two weeks at work; it's been totally fluffed, due to external sources creating a mammoth amount of admin work that had already been done, but due to the level of utter incompetence by third parties, it's turned into a total cluster fluff of epic proportions.
We'll try to hop in all the Blog Hops in the next couple of days, and many apologies for missing last week's, and now mew know why that happened!
I'll have to continue the Prudence saga next week, when hopefully things have calmed down, and we can return to normal.
I'll leave mew with a supurr throwback of yours truly from 2009, and we'll just dive right into today's post!
I was in my prime here! MOL
The P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.

The P.A.'s answers are...
1. My plans for Easter (or Sunday) include _______________________. Well the way I'm going right now, I'll be staying in bed all day and hiding!
2. My favourite Easter treat is a dark chocolate egg.
3. _________ is a healthy food I genuinely enjoy. I enjoy all healthy foods, what can I say! LOL
4. 49 is an age I wouldn’t mind being permanently.
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!

Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:
A former librarian turned private investigator. A witty orange cat. A priceless Easter egg stolen from a museum in a charming seaside town full of secrets.
During Oceanview Cove's annual Easter Fair, the town's prized artifact – a jewel-encrusted golden egg – vanishes from the museum. Deleted security footage, a disabled alarm system, and a mysteriously indisposed guard point to a meticulously planned heist. Jim Butterfield and his feline partner Ginger face their most sophisticated case yet.

If, like me, mew enjoy cozy mysteries that whisk mew away to charming seaside towns filled with secrets and a sprinkle of humour, then Easter Egg Theft is the perfect treat for mew this Easter!
This is the seventh instalment in the Jim and Ginger Cozy Mysteries series, and yes, I will be returning to the start of the series in the coming weeks (it's so much fun!), but I wanted to share an Easter read for mew today, and this fits the bill purrfectly!
Jim Butterfield, our lovable former librarian turned private investigator, teams up with his sassy orange sidekick, Ginger – a cat whose sarcasm could rival the best stand-up comedians. This dynamic duo faces their most intriguing case yet when the prized artifact of Oceanview Cove disappears in the midst of their annual Easter Fair. With deleted security footage and an inexplicably unavailable museum guard on the scene, it’s clear that this theft was planned by somepawdy who knows exactly what they’re doing.
As Rex, the town’s most underwhelming sheriff, proves useless (again!), Jim and Ginger muster their investigative wits and delve into the world of drone parts and suspicious ships that have mysteriously popped up in the harbour. I particularly loved the connection to their previous adventure at the boat racing tournament – a clever nod that keeps mew on the tips of your paws, piecing together the puzzle like an Easter egg hunt!
The sense of community and the quirky characters, with old furiends with hidden talents, re-enter the picture just in time for Easter celebrations, adding layers of warmth and charm that make mew feel right at home in Oceanview Cove. The writing is infused with humour that keeps the pages turning faster than mew can say chocolate bunny, and the interactions between Jim and Ginger are laugh-out-loud funny.
This is a delightful mix of mystery, humour, and heartwarming moments. If mew’re looking for a cozy mystery that combines a clever plot with quirky characters this Easter, mew’ll be hooked by Jim and Ginger’s antics. Trusted with the job of recovering this priceless object, they’ll have mew completely entertained until the very last page! Don’t miss this charming addition to your cozy mystery collection – it’s a real egg-ceptional Easter read!
A supurr addition to this highly entertaining series!
And the entire series is available on Kindle Unlimited at the time of posting.

I really hope mew enjoy the book if mew choose to read it.
It's time for me to say BFN or bye-for-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't forget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
Until next time...
Keep calm and read more books
