Welcome wunderpurr furriends

It's Friday again and now officially autumn/fall.  We have been noticing the changing colours fur quite some time now, the high pigmented colour palette of summer has been slowly fading over the last few weeks.  The leaves have been falling, not in a great abundance but still they're falling.  We love this time of year, there's much to be done in the garden and we're all eager paws to help! MOL

The veggie patch was quite a success, even though we were late planting.  The tomato and bean crop have been bumper, the purple broccoli is coming along fabulously.  We still have courgettes growing, the onion sets are great.  Sadly the cucumbers weren't too great, but there's always next year to get that right.  We grew some spinach from seed, however when it grew it certainly didn't look like spinach, I think someone got their seeds mixed up!

So the next job is to get a few winter flowering plants just to keep the dullness away during the darker days and to plant a huge pile of spring flowering bulbs, oh and some later summer flowering ones too. We're certainly going to be busy over the weekend.

The year is 1683* and a bit...

I’ve amassed me crew on The Crimson Revenge with me trusty burd Pilchard the Parrot**... I found the scurvy lot in a tavern of much ill repute called ‘The Salty Seapig’ causing much mayhem with the local rodent population after partaking in far too much nip rum... arrrrggg.... me poor furst mate Peg-Leg-Smooch had a devilish time climbing up into the crow's-nest!

One-eye Amber had that much nip rum she was wearing her eye patch over the wrong eye and fell into the drink as she crawled up the gang plank.... aaarrrrrrgggg.... me other crew seem to be holding fast as we go to intercept a gold bullion ship heading into port.... arrrrggg.... feel free to come aboard anytime and join the melee.

The Saturday Special ~ The Annual Garden Safari

Welcome to another edition of

On this weeks episode our supurr pawesome furriends we're taking mew on a Garden Safari, we did mention this a few weeks ago [I know we usually do the tour in July but the P.A. was away so that's why we're late this year]. Howeffur, the day has finally come, so without further adieu here's some serious flower power... 

Let the fun begin on our annual

This year rather than walk mew through the garden we thought we'd group the flowers together by colour fur a most dramatic effect.

We believe that the flowers speak fur themselves this year, hence no commentary is needed at this time ~  feel free to wander at your leisure and just soak up the beauty of our rainbow garden and enjoy the peaceful tranquility and ambiance.

Any questions, just shout ~ I'll be reclining here, in the catmint ready to assist mew at a moments notice! MOL

Well, we've come to the end of the tour, we do hope mew've enjoyed yourselves and if mew'd like any refreshments such as fresh nip tea, iced or hot.  A selection of tuna flake cakes, hot fudge nip cakes, dreamy chip cakes, iced nip surprise or if your taste buds require something a little more fishy we have salmon on a bed of fabulous fresh nip puree served on toasted seeded nip crackers.  So just head towards the patio where Amber and Parsley will be your servers and make mew feel right at home.  After there are plenty of places to have a snooze, so stay as long as mew like.

All our nip nibbles are made with pure, fresh 100% organic nip too, fur your added enjoyment.
