Epic Wednesday Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up!
How's your week going?
We did get a couple of sunspots, very briefly. Parsley is enjoying one below, but then it rained. And rained. And rained some more. Then it got colder. Then it warmed up a couple of degrees. Then got even colder. All in all, a really horrid weather week.
And all the low-lying fields are like lakes, totally flooded. Years ago, when this happened, and then it froze really hard, the P.A. would go ice skating; she said it was great fun. We said, nah, mew can keep that! MOL
Good news, though, the Spring bulbs are growing rather quickly. Maybe by the month's end, we'll have a bit of colour. The P.A. still has some roses to prune, but it's too cold and damp; she needs a portable heat lamp to keep her warm while she's in the garden! MOL
And if mew've missed Spring as much as we have, here's a little throwback to April 14th last year... because we all need colourful flowers to look at.
Aren't they pretty, and the purrfect colour for this week!
Anyhoo, let's look at what the heathens have been up to this week.
First up in the news
Smooch Is Making An Enquiry
Smooch got on the P.A.'s lap. He does this after dinner every night. The pawrents retire to the upstairs sitting room. Smooch is first on the sofa, usually Fudge turns up within a few minutes, then Melvyn.
So Smooch has about four minutes to enjoy a completely uninterrupted brush session.
Next up in the news
Pandora Didn't Want To Share The Snuggle Mat
Pandora was enjoying her nap on this snuggle mat when Fudge decided he wanted to snooze there ... poor lambkin, there's only about another ten snuggle mats all over the house, but no, he wanted the brown one.
In other news...
Parsley's Brief Sunspot
Parlsey found a sunspot and enjoyed it for five minutes before the clouds came and ruined everything!
Then it rained ... again ...
And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Melvyn's modelling Multi-coloured hearts with lilac fringing bandana, doesn't he look absolutely spiffing?
It all started off so well, but then Fudge had to pounce and cause a kerfuffle! MOL
Check out his videos on your preferred social media channel:
Apologies for no YouTube video this week; the P.A. accidentally filmed in wide shot mode, and YouTube wouldn't allow any mewsic to be applied in that format... oh dear... and yes, we have reprimanded her for this heinous oversight.
Which one is your favourite this week?
Which one should he model next?
Here's the Valentine's Bandana Selection.
The February Valentine's Collection:
1. Multi-coloured hearts with lilac fringing
2. Red hearts with red fringing
3. White hearts with glitter ribbon
4. Red heart with red tassels
Tell us your top pick for next week in the comments!
That's us done for today. Amber will be back on Friday with another meowvellous book, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

Those flowers are beautiful, bring on Blooming Season. Y'all look fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteSmooch, we love that you always get that uninterrupted lap time with the P.A. We hope the weather stays on track for lots more blooming at your place!
ReplyDeleteThe spring bulbs give me hope.
ReplyDeleteThe tulips look lovely and I look forward to seeing them again in the spring. We have daffodils and snowdrops, and one very hardy but confused primrose that has flowered throughout the winter and still flowering. A bird must have
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened there. I just had my groceries delivered and put them away and saw I had only published half the comment! Looking at the time, I must have touched it as I sat back down.
DeleteI was going to say a bird must have dropped a seed there a few years ago and the primrose keeps going.
Love the photos of everyone and Melvyn's modelling. The end made me laugh!
Smooch, look how handsome you are!
ReplyDelete#3 White hearts is my vote.
Yesterday was the first time I was able to walk without a scarf around my face in many weeks.
I enjoyed seeing the red tulips in the flower pot. That's what got me in the mood to try doing the same thing but it did not work out unfortunately. So I will just have to enjoy your photos. And of course I always enjoy the photos of the kitties. We still have deep snow on the ground but we do have a break in the temperature which helps.
ReplyDelete#3 for next week.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of you. So precious.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to mom. ♥
