Epic Wednesday Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up!
How's your week going?
Well, we've had a couple of dry spells, and by dry spells, we mean it stopped raining for a few hours.
Honestly, this weather is far too wet for us! MOL
It was dry all of yesterday, but today, the rain is back, and it will be mostly wet for the next few weeks. And here's the absolutely hilarious thing. They are already predicting droughts for spring and summer - yep, we couldn't believe it either. We know that last winter, 24/25, it was very dry and that continued throughout the year, but we've had a year's worth of rain just in 2026. And it's going to continue well into March on the long-range forecast. Lucky us!!!
And yes, we may need an ark.
Here's a throwback to April 2025 - Pink Frilled Tulips in Bloom
The bulbs are coming along quite well; we just hope they don't rot or die from soggy soil. There is gravel drainage at the bottom of the pots, so we are hopeful most will survive, as we are so looking forward to seeing this again in April. It's so pretty.
The P.A. finally finished pruning all of the roses in the BBHQ garden yesterday, and now she has to give them an early feed, usually granular or pellets, to help them bloom all summer.
Anyhoo, let's look at what the heathens have been up to this week.
First up in the news
Fudge Snuggling on His Cushion
Fudge loves the giant floor cushion. He gets snuggled here while the P.A. does her writing and offers useful prompts and suggestions as she works on the new B Team Adventure.

Pandora Found A Sunspot
As we said earlier, there have been a couple of days with no rain, and brief sunny spells, and here's Pandora under the gazebo enjoying one of those fleeting moments!

And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
This week mew chose: The White Hearts with glitter ribbon, and Melvyn loves it!
Sorry, there's no video this week; we had a minor camera malfunction.
Apologies for that as mew know how much we love sharing Melvyn's catwalk strut.
Which one should he model next?
Here's the Valenitne's Bandana Selection.
The February Valentine's Collection:
1. Multi-coloured hearts with lilac fringing
2. Red hearts with red fringing
3. White hearts with glitter ribbon
4. Red heart with red tassels
Next week, he'll be wearing the final one for this wonderful Valentine's month.
That's us done for today. Amber will be back on Friday with another meowvellous book, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

ReplyDeleteYou are blogger’s top model
ReplyDeleteI hope you don’t get too much rain, or a drought later on. It’s funny how the weather is always wrong, not just the weather guessers!
ReplyDeleteWe actually had sun yesterday morning, them right on 1pm the heavy rain returned and continues today. It is supposed to be just cloudy on Thursday and Friday before the rain returns. Enough!!! And can you believe that Cornwall's largest reservoir is still not full!
ReplyDeleteYou all look lovely enjoying the sun and noms. Looking handsome, Melvyn!
It was fun seeing everybody eating their supper at the same time and peacefully. Melvyn you definitely hit the high spot for Valentine's Day with that lovely picture of you. Our 24 inches of snow has finally melted this week, and for two days in a row we had fog so bad that honestly we couldn't see our neighbors houses. And they're not really that close together.
ReplyDeleteY'all look so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that spring shows up soon, and kicks Old Man Winter to the kerb.
Loved the flowers. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your kitties. So precious.
I pick #2 for next week and I know I'll be right.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to you. ♥
