The Weather Report
The weather has remained cooler, a little breezy at times, with a splash of rain and low-20s temperatures, which, in all honesty, has been utterly glorious!
Though we keep seeing all this stuff online about getting extra food in, and emergency supplies because of the supurr El Nino that's building in the Specific Ocean - yes we know it's really the Pacific, but we prefer Specific! MOL
So we're not quite sure what that means, but it seems like a bit of pre-winter prepping is in the offing!
This Week's Flower Offering
Just look at the colour of that; it is so intense, fiery, and honestly quite volcanic, mew should see them in real life, quite breathtaking in their meauty.
This year's flowers haven't done that great in the relentless scorchio sun, so seeing this the other day was a total win for that garden border! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.
Fudge's Listening To Rain
A gentle pitter-patter rain fell on the catservatory roof the other day; the sun was still shining as it fell, and Fudge sat there listening and watching the large drops roll down the glass.
It was quite lovely to watch! MOL
Melvyn's Supurr Chilled
Melvyn was having a supurr chill moment as he snuggled in a black velvet winter coat the P.A. had pulled out of the wardrobe... yep, it's now a black velvet coat with random white fur motifs! MOL
The P.A. says she approves of the floof enhancements! MOL

Now here's the really strange thing... mew know we watch the moon; we've done it for years and years, so we're pretty familiar with where we normally see it from the BBHQ garden at different times of night.
But lately, its position from our particular viewing spot has seemed completely out of whack with what we're used to seeing. And on the night of the eclipse, it really had us scratching our heads.
In our highly scientific BBHQ opinion, the moon still has an operating virus. We call it Moodvid!!! MOL
I love smooch in the night moonlight. Mysterious and beautiful!

That is a pretty dahlia. Ours went bonkers after some good rain, but then we had more rain and high humidity, and most of the pretty blooms kind of got yucky....

We figger El Nino will git here afore it gits to y'all. We hope fur a warmer winter than last winter's worst in fur ever. Fudge, looks like ya got a bit of the damp soil on yer nose. Maybe the world is worse off it's axis and that's why the moon looked moved.
