Hello gorgeous library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ
Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today and today, as it's the last Friday of the month I'm joining the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop with Mudpie from the pawesome blog: www.mochasmysteriesmeows.com
And this is my photo, I was purchasing some books at the time and was told I couldn't have any more!
What Do Mew Mean I've Reached My Credit Limit?
Today the P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the ameowzing 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. Why is _________________ so expensive?
2. On holidays, I always have a second serving of __________________________.
3. I’m eternally grateful for _________.
4. ‘Tis the season for _________.
The P.A.'s answers are...
1. Why is everything so expensive? And have you noticed how small everything is compared with years ago? I bought a box of After Eight Mints the other day and they're not much bigger than a postage stamp now.
2. On holidays, I always have a second serving of vodka, and maybe a third if it's flavoured vodka!
3. I’m eternally grateful for my hubby, cats and all the wonderful friends in the cat blogosphere.
4. ‘Tis the season for good things to happen, so here's wishing everyone good things.
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!
This week's top book pick is...
The Ten Lives of Hector, The Cat!
by
Jane L King
Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:
What you may not know is that cats have a special sense that allows them to travel through space and human time, and they can travel completely unseen! With the help of a large dictionary, a little bit of sunshine, and a whole lot of sleeping, Hector is taken to many wonderful places.
This is purrobably one of the shortest reviews I've ever done, but then the book is not very long, it's more of a novella in my humble opinion.
Anyhoo it's great; a really fun, little story with some absolutely gorgeous full-colour illustrations throughout.
Hector goes on quite the adventure to ancient Egypt (one of my favourite places ever) and is, in fact, a time-travelling cat, I'm surprised we've not bumped into him on one of our missions! MOL
So all I can say is, if mew love cats, adventure, ancient Egypt, time travel and a bit of history this is so a book for mew!
I hope there are more in the series as I'm keen to see where Hector goes next.

Overall Enjoyment
I really hope mew enjoy the book as much as I did if mew decide to read it.
It's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
We did have a sponsored post planned for tomorrow but the P.A. had one too many appointments this week stealing her time so that post will now be on Tuesday instead, and we'll be back on Sunday with our usual selfies post.
Until next time...
Keep calm and read more books
