Welcome to another BBHQ Sunday Selfie, and this week, Smooch wanted to share his epic selfie from Friday Morning when he wanted to go inside and the P.A. was taking too long to open the door! MOL

Smooch loves being outside in all weathers, he doesn't care!

As he's got older, in the last year he's not been able to get over the garden fence anymore, so he's stuck in the BBHQ garden, which really is not a bad plae to be!

Welcome to another BBHQ Sunday Selfie, and this week, we thought we'd share a supurr cute throwback selfie of Amber from June 2007, when she was a lot more adventurous and spent a lot more time outside.

This was one of her favourite hang outs back in the day, under the carport on this chair or the sofa.

Now she just languishes on the sofa in the catservatory! MOL

And just look at her eyes, mew can see why she's called Amber, and here's a little secret, when she first arrived at BBHQ, her name was Gizmo!

Anyhoo it's time for us to stay clear of the kitchen as Smooch is on the warpath, apparently the P.A. was supposed to get the ingredients to make a chocolate fudge cake and instead she bought the ingredients to make this cheesecake, and she made it without his knowledge or snoopervison - Oh My Cod - seriously - DO NOT GO IN THE KITCHEN!

And to make matters worse, this was the lemming cheesecake he wanted making a few weeks ago, and the P.A. completely forgot! Jumpin' juniper berries it's going to be exciting at BBHQ today! MOL MOL MOL

Welcome to another BBHQ Sunday Selfie, and this week, we're going back to single selfies, as it is the holiday season in the UK for the next six or so weeks, and mew know we can't get caught bipping around in the Time Travelling Telephone Box aka TTTB, what would the general public say, seeing The B Team land at all of the ancient monuments, scramble for a selfie and then bip off again into thin air!!!??? So rather than cause a public fracas, we're opting to lay low on the Stone Circle trail until later in September.

Fudge adores relaxing next to the mill wheel filled with catmint on the patio near the pond.

He will recline here for hours at a time if the weather is clement!

Fudge loves checking out all the plants in the garden, in fact the P.A. has to point him to the cat grass so he can go and nom his greens, he also loves fresh catnip.

Welcome to The BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up ~ Melvyn's Homage To Basil, Spring Cleaning with Fudge & Smooch is Guarding the Catmint AND **Farewell Paula, An Epically Epic Lady**

Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!

We can't believe it's Wednesday already, where does the time go? The P.A. started scraping the paint off the Time Travelling Telephone Box and antique garden bench over the holiday weekend, and she said, "Dudes I don't like this job, can you take over?" 

To which we replied, "Fluff no, we can't hold the scraper!" MOL MOL MOL

First up in the news this week

Did mew see my picture on Monday's post, my Chonky Basil pic, when I was in my bulking phase? MOL 

It was lovely when Melvyn wanted to try and recreate my photo, and this is his version. What do mew think?

Same tree, similar kitty! 

We think he did a smashing job, in fact, he did smash it! 

 

Next up in the news

Spring Cleaning with Fudge

Fudge decided that a few of the kitchen cupboards needed a little Spring cleaning this week.

He's very purrticular in his method. He insists everything is removed from the said cupboard,  it has to be wiped out with hot, soapy water and then dried with a tea towel.

Next everything going back in the cupboard has to be wiped clean before being replaced in a nice, neat orderly fashion.

Talk about being a hard taskmaster, the P.A. is worn out with all the extra cleaning!

Finally this week

Mew may have seen the last few weeks how Smooch has been guarding and nurturing the catnip plants in the courtyard. 

He's now taken it upon himself to watch the catmint plant in the millwheel as well as it bursts into life again. 

 At this rate, he'll need Humphrey's cloning tech so he can protect all the plants in the garden! MOL 

And it is with heavy hearts and droopy tails we say farewell to an epically epic lady.

Paula Gregg very sadly lost her battle with cancer on Monday, she wrote an ameowzing blog, Sweet Purrfections as well as being President of the Cat Writers Association and Managing Editor of the Catblogosphere.

The P.A. met Paula in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina during the 2017 Blogpaws Conference. She was a fabulous lady, a beautiful soul filled with endless kindness and light. 

She will be missed so much, not only by the cat blogging and CWA community but by everyone who had the privilege to meet her.

Rest In Peace Paula
