Epic Monday greetings gorgeous furiends

Welcome to another interesting week at BBHQ, and we are continuing our crystal journey today. And this time, we've got a supurr crystal to share as Pip asked us; what is ocean jasper good for?

Crystal of The Week

&

What is Ocean Jasper good for?

Ocean jasper is a very purretty stone, and it's also known as orbicular or cellular jasper due to the circular markings and patterns which cover them. They are visually striking and come in a variety of colours, much like a rainbow really; red and pink tones, greens, blues, browns, greys, yellows and white. So no two stones will ever look the same.

We have a few small tumble stones and a couple of larger palm stones, which Melvyn is examining. He was really drawn to the one at the front, and did bat it around the kitchen island for a few minutes - #heathen! MOL

As mew can see, ours are very different from one another although both are really exquisite to look at. They are like little abstract paintings; in fact, there is a type of jasper called, picture jasper which can look like mini landscapes, and mew can get the most ameowzing pendants in this crystal.

Let us tell mew a little about the gem lore surrounding these unusual patterned crystals. The most common type of jasper is a reddish-brown or ochre yellow colour, and these are known for purportedly being supurr nurturing stones and are great for stress and bringing more calm and peace into life/situations.

This purrticular variety of jasper is supposed to a fabulous stone for all the chakras, as the multi-coloured coloured ones can be used on multiple chakra points. Colour specific jasper such as the plain colours would just be used on their corresponding chakra points.

Ocean jasper is also reportedly good for assisting in letting go of self-limiting and/or painful memories and/or emotional blockages, so if mew have wurk to do in those areas, this may be a stone for mew.

In other texts we've read, it is also said that it can help bolster determination and drive, especially when courage is lacking and needs a boost to take the next step. So if mew are hovering and hanging back from something, this appurrently could help to explore those reasons.

The stones we have at BBHQ have a lovely energy, and we think if mew like unusual patterns created by Mother Nature, this purrticular crystal is a must-have.

Many thanks for emailing us Pip, and we hope that answered your question.
