Hello furbulous library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ
As mew can see, we've gone all Valentinesy on the blog.
Well in all honesty, we were getting a little fluffed off with the winter vibe and thought any excuse to decorate, so we hope mew like the lovey-dovey vibe! MOL
This week, after a little accident on my lovely grey blankys, I had to get the emergency beige blankys as a substitute while my grey ones are drying.
Today the P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. I enjoy making _________.
2. I can't stop _________.
3. I need to figure out _________ before _________.
4. I maybe not _________, but I do _________.
Here are the P.A.s answers:
1. I enjoy making lots of things, especially for the cats. Creating fun items for their crafting posts is so pawesome. The latest project which will be on the blog soon, threw a little hurdle at me the other day, but I've found a solution, so it's all ok now! LOL
2. I can't stop being creative, I think I would go quite mad if I couldn't make, sew or write stuff.
3. I need to figure out a new layout before I make some new raised beds for the veggies.
4. I may not be purrfect in a lot that I do, but I do try my best.
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!
This week's top book pick is...

Merlin Fights a Ghost
Merlin The Magical Fluff Book 2

Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:
It was hard enough serving as my witchy cat’s familiar when we only had to deal with threats we could see. Now he’s gotten himself into a bitter feud with a newly dispatched ghost, leaving me to wonder…
How in the heck are we supposed to defeat this thing?
How in the heck are we supposed to defeat this thing?
I reviewed book one in the Merlin the Magical Fluff trilogy in December, here's the link if mew want to catch up.
This did come as a trilogy box set, so I listened to all three novels consequetively with no break. Book two continues right after book one finishes, so there's no dead space or time lag to catch up on, which I really liked. Though, book two could easily be be read as a stand alone novel too.
In this story, the characters are up against a ghostly foe, and it's up Merlin to save the day with his meowgical prowess with the help from Gracie and Luna.
Merlin still has his catitude of superiority, although he is learning to be a little less abrasive! And as the ghostly goings-on begin to ramp up, the trio go on the defensive before things take a turn for the worse.
This a fun, paranormal, cat cozy mystery which straddles two worlds; our mundane one and the magical one where cats rule.
The plot is nicely paced, the characters develop well, and there are the ubiquitous red herrings to keep mew on your toes claws.
As I said in my first review, I felt the narrator wasn't quite right for this role, but that's not to say mew may pawsibly disagree with me. This however, didn't distract from my overall enjoyment of the novel and the world the author created.
I really like where the story is headed and will share book three with mew soon.

Let me know if mew read today's top book pick, and what mew thought!
It's time for me to say BFN or bye-for-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't forget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
Until next time
Keep calm and read more books
