Wunderpurr greetings pawesome pals
Welcome to another Sunday Selfie Selection and aftur last weeks garden fiasco with Smoochie yelling at the catmint, this week we thought we'd have a little closer inspection to see what is growing, and so far the miniature daffodils are out as are the snowdrops. The larger daffs are coming along nicely, as are the tulips, the hyacinths are flowering and we just saw a flash of purple from a couple of the crocus's. Hopefully by the end of the month we'll have a little splash of colour.
The froggies new home is coming along nicely, so we'll get some pictures of that fur mew next week and give mew a little tour. Although it won't be propurrly finished fur a bit as we've got to go and get plants etc and tidy up aftur the winter!

DeleteLooking good, everybuddy! How exciting about Spring starting to ... um ... spring there. We hope the daffs will start coming out here soon, too. Can't wait to see your pics of the froggies new home!
ReplyDeleteHey guys, oh we've been gathering pictures of the new froggy abode, so we'll have quite a tale to tell soon! MOL XOX
DeleteHmm not sure about spring here, seems like the clouds have sprung a leak and I am currently besieged by rain and dark clouds! MOL
ReplyDeleteAnyways, you guys are all looking grand, this morning. Purrs to you all for and heres to colours in the day rather than greys. Purrs ERin

DeleteWe just love seeing you in your beautiful green collage! So springy!! We struggled to be green too, but weren't quite ready for St Paddy day. The grass is a great experience. and we love the heartshapped cut outs, as valentines ius not far behind us. Have a wonderful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteHey Peaches & Paprika, we do try to be as springy as possible! MOL XOX

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Momma Kat & Bear! XOX
DeleteWe can't wait for Spring to Spring cause it's just too cold here. We are inside snuggled by the wood stove. Ways to go before we see any crocuses or daff poking up. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteHi BJ, oh it seems to be taking fureffur to get here though, but now we're in March things should get better, and we know all about being snuggled up in front of the wood-burner too, that's been our main past-time fur the last few months! MOL XOX
DeleteGreat selfies. I hope nothing is poking up in our garden, it is 25 degrees and will freeze. XO
ReplyDeleteHey guys, oh no mew definitely don't want any tender new shouts springing up fur the cold assault! XOX
DeleteDarling photos! We have daffodils up in the garden, along with a few crazy-early tulips. And my roses have their first leaves! It's so early, but so welcome. We're ready for spring.
ReplyDeleteJean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Hi all at the Menagerie, oh wow your tulips must be crazy to be this early! MOL XOX
DeleteI don't know about Spring, it's more like winter here. If the torrential rain doesn't wash me away, the gale force winds will most likely blow me away.
ReplyDeleteBeing in the Southwest our flowers come quite early. The snowdrops and crocuses have about finished and the daffodils that were still flowering have been blown down by the gales. My mum saw the first flower on one of the azaleas yesterday. that has probably blown away as well by now.
Hey Flynn, dude it's been a long grey winter with far too much rain, we'll feel your pain really we do! Our snowdrops are still going ok, the crocuses should be out in the next week, oh that's so annoying with those gale force winds, poor azalea! XOX
DeleteWow, you have flowers already?? We won't be seeing those for awhile.
ReplyDeleteHiya Island Cats, really, so mew've got nothing springing just yet? oh no! XOX
DeleteYou have a lot of color coming up! All we have is a few white iris!
ReplyDeleteHi Angel, Kirby & Max, in a couple of weeks we should have lot's of colour, pending no cold snap which may put things back a while! XOX
DeleteNo flowers are springing in our garden...because I don't have a green thumb. BUT my mom is headed over this very afternoon to try and plant some for our viewing delight. She also said she's going to plant some catnip for the kitties! She bought a very cute cat planter over the weekend just for the catnip! Needless to say, our kitties are excited.
ReplyDeleteHiya Chatty Cats, oh wow that sounds furry exciting that mew'll have an instant colour display and mew're getting catnip too, guys that's the best news effur! MOL XOX
DeleteThe daffies and ornamental fruit trees are blooming as is the quince and forsythia. It is so crazy pants this year. Looks as if you all are having a nice sunny day or days. After our nice warm weather,it is cold and grey again. Thanks for hopping everyone. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
ReplyDeleteHey guys, oh we bet it looks lovely, our weather is the same though, today it's 13.5C but the temp is going to plummet next week! XOX
DeleteYou all look lovely in your hearty Selfies, Basil. We can see that the plants are ready to bloom, but they need more sun instead of rain and hail. Hope you feeling better, Basil. Double Pawkiss for a Happy Week ahead☺❤
ReplyDeleteHey Binky & Granny, hope Granny is feeling oodles better! Yep, we do need more sun and fur longer periods too, I wunder if there's such a thing as a 'sun-dance' - like a rain-dance but fur more warmz! MOL XOX
DeleteWe had a warm spell earlier in Feb and then it got really cold...but not before the crocuses were blooming...now they are buried under snow, and likely done in. There were buds on some of the trees even...they too shall be frozen off. We are not hopeful that our weeping cherry tree will give a good a show as last spring when it was gorgeous.
