Hello furbulous library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ.
If mew saw yesterday's video on TikTok when only 3 out of 6 cats turned up for breakfast, I finally decided that I should get my furry bottom off the sofa upstairs to go and get some snacks!
However, Melvyn was still fast asleep in bed, he always gets in the warm spot when the P.A. gets up in the morning and pretty much stays there all day.
And Pandora was flaked out on the sofa in the sitting room absorbing all the warms from the woodburner.
So I did what any good kitty would do, and ate theirs too! MOL
Today the P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. I am going to _________ on _________.
2. The worst _________ is _________.
3. From my experience, _________ is worth its weight in gold.
4. _________ does not work for me.
The P.A.'s Answers
1. I am going to a Japanese restaurant on the 15th February. I love fresh sushi, it's one of my favourite foods ever! LOL
2. The worst thing is getting blisters from new shoes, which felt fine in the shop when you bought them!
3. From my experience, living with cats is worth its weight in gold. No home is complete without a furry furiend or two, or three, or six, or more! In fact, I don't think you could ever have too many cats!
4. Trying to force myself to be creative does not work for me. If it's not flowing naturally and effortlessly, then I don't do it. I have to leave it alone until such time it does flow, and if it never flows it never happens!
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!
This week's top book pick is...
Mewton-Clawson Library Copy
Merlin Kills A Zombie
Merlin The Magical Fluff Book 3
by
Molly Fitz
Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:
When my cat brought me a dead bird as a present, I cringed.
When that dead bird suddenly flitted back to life, I screamed.
At first, I shrugged it off as one of the random things that happens when your roommate is a magical cat, but then it kept happening.
Turns out a familiar foe is creating an army of undead creatures with the goal of forcing us to surrender. But Merlin and I refuse to let dark magic prevail—not when the entire existence of magic is now at stake.

And if magic dies, so too will all who wield it.
If mew missed the previous two reviews in the series, here are the links to catch up:
As I said on the last review, this did come as a trilogy box set, so I listened to all three novels consequetively with no break. Book three continues right after book two finishes, so there's no dead space or time lag to catch up on, which I really liked. And, books three and one could easily be be read as stand alone novels too.
This is Merlin and Gracie's last stand, and final battle as their nemesis Dash tries again to rid the magical world once and for all of our fluffy hero, and the world of magic too. This time using an endless onslaught of Zombies while the nefarious plan unfolds.
With kittens on the way, the stakes have never been higher for Merlin and Luna, as they navigate the treacherous dangers the evil Dash keeps sending their way.
The author writes a fast-paced plot with great character development, plus in book three we get a slew of new characters to aid our hero on his journey to battle evil.
As I said in my previous and first review, I felt the narrator wasn't quite right for this role - hence the 4 paw rating, but that's not to say mew may pawsibly disagree with me. This however, didn't distract from my overall enjoyment of the novel and the world the author created.
In summary, this is a really fun, quirky and well-plotted paranormal, cat cozy mystery series, and if I had any advice for mew as a reader it would be, forget the audio version and just get the ebook or paperback.
In my humble opinion, this is a supurr series.
