WELCOME TO
THE PET PARADE
Friday greetings wunderpurr pals
Welcome to another fantastic Pet Parade, today as mew can see from our collage we are all scratching gravel, and Humphrey more than most! Mew may wunder why this is, well furstly the P.A. finally opened her purse and yes several moths did flutter out choking on the dust - MOL - and she bought a new laptop. She looked at many, many, many models, in fact so much so her eyes began to water and went decidedly red, this aside she finally settled on an Asus Zenbook which she needs to see up offur the weekend and get all her stuff on it and hopefully next week we'll be back to full steam - hallelujah to the great goddess Bast fur small mercies!
Next we are still in gardening mode and getting bulbs planted, the P.A. has decided to expand the rear border and basically has made so much wurk fur herself that we have no choice but to assist, otherwise the new laptop will neffur get set up. She also ordered ten rose shrubs of the furry old fashioned purrsausion to plant in said borders, all different colours and appurrently highly scented, so that will be nice when they get their roots established and blossom. But luckily they won't be here til the end of the month, at least that's a slight reprieve.
So that's our weekend planned out... I feel tired already just thinking about it all but it will be pawesome to be finally back online, so expect us to be visiting mew all offur the next week and catching up and all your adeventures!
We'll be back with our usual Selfie Selection on Sunday, so we hope mew can join us then.
Bestest purrs & hugs

My mum says it is fun to find out all the new things on a new lap top, but I reminded her of all the bad words first when it is being set up. The scented roses will smell lovely on summer evenings.
ReplyDeleteAll we can say is hallelujah that she finally got one, and if there's any extra curricular language happening during the set-up we'll make certain that young Parsley is wearing earmuffs, as we don't want him expanding his already colourful repertoire!!! MOL MOL

PeeEss: Mommy wuld be very innerested in knowin' why and how your mommy chose da catputer she did.
Hiya Dezi, paws crossed the garden will look pawsitively delightful this summer!
DeleteChoosing a new 'puter was a furry hard job, furstly because there are sooooooo many models available, yet we narrowed it down by several factors:
The P.A. wanted a SSD, lightweight, portable computer as she travels. So this narrowed it right down. Yet the SSD 'puters are more money and less storage than conventional ones, that's the bad news. The good news is, they don't get hot, there's no fan whirring in the background and those drives are far more robust than a normal one.
The final 3 choices were: Mac Air, Asus Zenbook and Lenovo Yoga. The Mac was completely silly money for 128GB so that went straight out of the window. The Yoga was nice but the P.A. thought the hinges would eventually be an issue. So it was the Zenbook that won and while 128GB is a furry small capacity these days, it's not a purroblem as the P.A. now uses an external 500GB drive fur effurything anyway and so far she is intrinsically purrleased with her purchase. It's supurr fast and light, she says it makes wurking on the blog a purrleasure :D
