Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furiends
We do hope mew've had a supurr sunny weekend, and are feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning.
Today we're continuing our crystal journey, and this week, we've got a really pretty gemstone to share as Roz asked us; what are the benefits of fluorite?
Crystal of The Week
&
What are the benefits of fluorite?
Fluorite is a beautiful translucent stone that comes in shades of green, purple and blue plus it can also come in shades of brown and yellow, although the aforementioned is more common.
Mew'll most likely find gorgeous green and purple polished tumble stones on your travels; from our experience, they're the most prevalent ones we see at the shows and shops we go to. They are such interesting crystals to look at and are like having a mini rainbow in your pocket.
We have a few tumble stones at BBHQ and a larger slab which Melvyn is showing mew this week. It used to live on the bedside table, leaning against the wall until one day the P.A. found that it had been knocked over and was broken. Aftur that it got put away until it was retrieved yesterday for a photo.
Melvyn really enjoyed examining the fluorite, though he did say it was such a shame it got broken.
Anyhoo let's tell mew a little about the gem lore surrounding these pretty crystals. It is appurrently very effective for eliminating/blocking geopathic stress and electromagnetic smog, so ideal to place near your computer or wireless router. It is also said to be a really great grounding stone and is able to draw negative energies and stress from the body, and can also help cleanse and balance the aura.
There are texts which we've read that suggest that fluorite can assist in greater awareness of spiritual realms, and is highly protective on a psychic level, so if mew're interested in contacting spirit this would be a very useful crystal to add to your protective circle.
Fluorite can supposedly increase concentration/focus and assist with absorbing new information, so if mew're studying this could be a great stone to have. It also is suggested that it can widen your horizons/widen how mew think or view things, to see a bigger picture.
It can also purportedly calm chaotic tendencies and instil more stability/balance and organisation not only to the psychological body but also on the emotional level too.
If mew're looking for more balance and stability, whether emotionally or just in general this could be an excellent stone to have. There are some delightful fluorite jewellery pieces available, so for instance mew could wear a bracelet or pendant to keep this stone close. And in chakra healing, this could be placed on any the chakra points, use your instincts to choose the best placement idea for mew.
As mew can see there are many benefits to having this lovely crystal in your collection.
Many thanks for DM'ing us Roz, and we hope we answered your question.

Our Opa had lots of that crystal in his collection! It IS pretty! Sounds like petcretary could use some of it for her times at the confuser and another for pawppy...he has to learn lots of stuff for his job...and he sits even longer at his confuser than petcretary does!

ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of incredible minerals and crystals around where we live. (especially flourite, as well as quartz, gold, silver, copper, garnets, and more) there is a terrific place to take visitors called Rock Candy Mountain (https://rockcandymine.com/) It has many colorful places and pieces that people can chip out and take with them. If you ever get to Canada, I am sure you would love it. I hope you have a marvellously happy day!
