Epic Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
Happy April!
What another glorious week at BBHQ! The sun has been shining, meaning we've had oodles of sun puddles coupled with lots of lounging in the warms.
But it's still horribly cold at night, but we can deal with it because the days are so sunny! MOL
Oh, and just look at this, the hyacinths have bloomed!
If mew missed the long road to bloomage, click here to catch up.
They bloomed fully on the weekend; they are the first ones. There are some pinky coloured ones that are about to emerge, and all the tulips and anemones are gathering steam now, so perhaps in the next week or so, there'll be a blooming marvellous display.
We can't wait to see that, and of course, we'll be sharing it all here, so mew can enjoy the flowers too!

First up in the news this week...
Pandora's Response to Smooch Wanting His Basket
When Smooch is outside in the garden, he always goes and gets in 'his' basket at some point for a snooze. But the other day, Pandora had beaten him to it.
And this was her response when he asked her to vacate...
Next up in the news...
Smooch Is Not A Happy Camper
Smooch was not a happy camper when he arrived for his lunchtime catnap to find Pandora firmly ensconced in his basket.
It did get resolved later in the day, but Smooch says he's implementing measures to stop the future usurping of said basket! MOL

In other news...
Fudge Has A Question
He was mightily fluffed off when he saw a pot full of hyacinths blooming and looking supurr colourful and pretty.
So he asked them why are they in full bloom and is the catmint is in some sort of stasis?
He waited twenty minutes for an answer, but none came, so in his frustration, he went and verbally blasted the catmint.
Needless to say, the catmint remained in its 'stasis' state and refused to be taunted into growth by Fudge. Who is now sulking somewhere in the bunker! MOL
And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Last week mew voted for The Cute Pink Cats bandana.
Sorry, the photo is a little blurry, Melvyn was supurr effervescant yesterday and couldn't keep still! MOL
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new April Bandana collection, hot off the sewing machine in the BBHQ Craft Room. These were made on Monday teatime under the expert eye of Fudge, who was hanging around the craft room and needed a distraction.
As spring is now officially here, we chose some more colourful and bright bandanas for this month.
The April Collection:
1. Ballooning with Furiends* ~ Blue
2. Spring Freshness
3. Peony Purrfection
4. Cute Pink Cats
5. Blooming Marvellous
Tell us your top pick for next week in the comments!
*Melvyn modelled the Ballooning with Furiends with a white background last September, and we've been waiting to make the blue version since then. We just checked out the videos we posted in September, and there's a really cute 'get ready with me' where he's prepping for the catwalk run; OMC, it's so cute!
That's us done for today.
Amber will be back on Friday with another pawesome book, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:

Check out the latest episodes of The Purrminator, as tomorrow we'll be back with Chapter Twenty-One in Melvyn's epically epic supurr exciting origin story:
Hoping mew have a furbulous day, and remember to always...

Y'all look great, but Pandora, that is totally adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is not very ladylike, Pandora, after "borrowing" Smooch's basket. Fudge does not look happy waiting for the nip to grow, and Melvyn looks handsome in his bandana. The hyacinth is a lovely colour.
ReplyDelete#2 Melvyn. We think you look so handsome. And the idea of one kitty taking over another kitty's purrsonal baskie space, ridiculous. Lynn has seen some forsythia blooming and of course that means at least 3 more snows. One year she counted 9 more snows after! Heaven help us if that is this year!
ReplyDelete#5 and we understand that yelling or meowing at plants really WILL make them grow, at least that how I operate.
ReplyDeletemelvyn yur lookin epic lee pawsum buddy and eye chooze two for next week….all yur fotoz bee rockin de houz…fudge…ewe knead ta uze sum $(**$&*$ werdz on that cat nip buddy and shake it outta stay sizz and inta growin 🙀🍀😼😺🐟💚💙‼️still noe flowerz heer..nothin but frozt 😼😾
ReplyDeleteAlways love seeing all of you. So adorable.
ReplyDeleteI pick #5 for next week.
I linked this post to Wordless Wednesday.
Have a purrfect day and rest of the week. Scritches all around and a big hug to your mom. ♥
We loved seeing you all, sweet pals. Fudge, we sure hope that catmint gets un-statis-ed pretty soon! Melvyn, how about Blooming Marvellous next week? XO
ReplyDeletePoor Smooch. I bet you could both fit in the basket. Melvyn, you are an excellent model. XO
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the weather is now like what spring weather should be.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the catmint and the basket controversy.
Melvyn, you are amazingly enthusiastic. I'm still pulling for the first one with the lovely balloons.
