Supurr Festive greetings library guests

and

Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ on the day before Catmas Eve!

Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today, well actually we're not in the stacks today as I'm in the sitting room in front of the fire. The tree is up and looks supurr sparkly and we've got our epically epic Catmas tree scratcher in the catservatory, which the heathens have been rioting over. Check out the Tiktok video. They are total hooligans! MOL

This was me earlier waiting for my lift on to the sofa. Did mew know the P.A. made me wait an entire minute before she picked me up? It felt like I was sitting there for 3 days... I know I can't believe the slowness of the service either!

Anyhoo, this was me later on, enjoying another freshly washed blanky... mmmmmm my favourite!

I do hope mew are all having a supurr festive day in the run up to the main event, and I just wanted to say thank mew furry much for joining me every week in the Mewton-Clawson Library for my book reviews. Mew don't know how much it means to an old, crotchety lady cat like myself. In fact, in the Mew Year I am going to crown myself Kitty Queen of Cozy Cat Mystery Reviews!

Also, the library mice are having a little gathering later, mew will find them in the 'P' aisle for PAWTY! So if mew want to join them the library is open.

Today the P.A. is also joining in Friday Fill-ins Blog Hop with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.

1. My favorite holiday tradition is __________________________.
2. On Christmas (or Hanukkah) I plan to fill up on __________________.
3. ‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house _________.
4. _________ is the best way to spread holiday cheer.

The P.A.'s answers are...

1. My favorite holiday tradition is putting up the tree, and deciding what colour decorations I am going to use.

2. On Christmas (or Hanukkah) I plan to fill up on __________________. I will be having a little of everything on the Christmas menu this year. I can't think of a single item that I really rate above all others. I love all my luncheon items equally! LOL

3. ‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house nopawdy stirred not even the mouse - that's because the library mouses are still hungover from their wild pawty.  I dread to think of the mess they've made in aisle P, Amber will go off her library trolley if they haven't cleaned it up! LOL

4. Kindness is the best way to spread holiday cheer. Kindness, a smile and sometimes a hug, but not if anyone is sneezing or coughing!

Squishy McFluff

Secret Santa

by

Pip Jones

Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:

From the funniest voice in young fiction today, this is the festive fourth book in this fantastically successful new series for 4-6-year-old readers about Ava and her imaginary cat, in hilarious rhyming text with adorable illustrations.

This is my very first Squishy McFluff book, there are seven in the series, and I can why they are so popular.

Squishy is an invisible cat, and although it doesn't explain his invisibleness within the book, the blurb above says he's an imaginary cat, but I will check our earlier volumes to find out more.

The narrative is rhyming and fun, and the illustrations are epically cute and this purrticular Catmas story is really sweet; a gorgeous festive tale.

As the book is only 80 pages with illustrations, my review is somewhat small today, but don't let that detract from the fun that is Squishy McFluff. I would recommend this to all cat lovers, and it would be a supurr gift for younger readers and just absolutely purrfect for Catmas.

Another TOP PAW read!

I really hope mew enjoy the book as much as I did if mew decide to read it.

It's time for me to say BFN or bye-for-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.

Until next time...
