Well, I can't believe that on Wednesday I was accused of being a FIRE HOG!
I'm at a total loss for wurds about such a heinous accusation... I'm mean come on, would I ever?

Oh fluff I'd better come clean then and stop feigning total indignity and utter outrage.
Well, lovely readers, my cover has been blown and yes I fully admit it [only because I have no other choice!]; this week I have been a total and utter FIRE HOG! OOPS! MOL But it has been cold, I am the eldest and I do have a bit of Arthur, so I'm the E wurd - ENTITLED!

So what did I think to Cat Songs, well aftur the P.A. croaked, screeched, caterwauled and wailed like a dying wildebeest, surrounded by 300 vultures waiting to pick her bones clean whilst she explored all of the different songs, I can safely say that next time I'm going to ask dad to sing to me! MOL
But the screeching and wailing aside, what a really fun book and I totally recommend it, as long as your hooman isn't a wailer or a screecher!
The lyrics are set to well-known tunes which most of your hoomans should be well versed in or at least have a basic knowledge of, and if not mew can always google it.
This has to be one of the funnest books I've ever encountered, well done to the authors for devising such a pile of fun for mew and your hooman, as who doesn't want to be serenaded? Just don't ask the P.A.to sing, we've only just got offur the last flood, anypurrdy else will do!
Purrfect for any time of the day or night!

ReplyDeleteThere is no fireplace warming spot in my den,, alas...but there are several vents that exude lots of warmth these days. (Though it drives me crazy when those selfsame vents blow cold air on me in the summer...)

Ok so maybe best not ask for an encore, but this does sound a great book for the budding vocalist staff to practice on, or for felines to give their humans if they want a bit of fun come Christmouse when the staff have had too much of the nip gin ;) MOL

Singing to our cats is a good thing if you have a decent voice. I don't. I think I would make a cat very angry if I sang. Just saying.
