Welcome To

*waves paw*
Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library
Wow I can't believe a week has gone by so quickly, it seems like only yesterday I was here, time is doing some funny things right now.
I've lost a little bit of weight and I do have arthritis and onset CKD, but given I'm 17 this is purrfectly normal for an elderly catizen like myself. I do take CBD oil to help with the arthritis and some days I do walk like Robo-Cat but so it goes - though mew should see how the P.A. walks furst thing in the morning since her accident, it's like Darwin's Evolution during the furst couple of hours and she makes me look pawsitively fluid! MOL [But for Cods Sake don't tell her I told mew that, or she'll be revoking my credits at Audible and I really don't want a rerun of last time!]
Anyhoo in other news, remember our basket on the landing; well it got a little make-over this week and as mew can see Melvyn got to try it furst! It got a new lease of life with a white paint finish, a new supurr comfy cushion was made for the bottom, then a pom pom trimmed throw for the top with two small catnip pillows in matching fabric for extra comfort.
He says; it meets with his approval, and the P.A should have revamped it ages ago! MOL
Melvyn also has a bandanna and snuggle mat in the same fabric, though with different trim, click here to see.

And now I think it's time to share this weeks book.

Here's A Small
Snippet of the Book Blurb:
Our feline friends have spent eons observing, napping, pondering, napping and taking notes about the human condition. In between naps, they’ve realised that we humans could use some catlike guidance when it comes to handling the ups and downs of life.
>^.^<
Furstly I bought this way back in February and actually furgot all about it until I was going through one of the 'unread' book piles in my library - OOPS! So I thought I'd better get a wriggle on and review it this week! MOL
I did another review by the same author a while ago, so check that out too.
In fact, I would say that this would make the purrfect pressie for your hooman; my advice, buy it for Catmas, then a; mew've already took care of your shopping and b; mew've bought something thoughtful - the purrfect gift, so many levels of pawesome!

- Hardcover: 112 pages

I do hope mew enjoy this series if mew decide to give it a try...
...and if mew've read it already, what did mew think?

Sadly it's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just fur mew. And don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page
In the meantime

I'm glad you got a good report from the Vet and you're doing great for 17! That sounds like a purrfectly fun book!
ReplyDeleteGreat news from your medical, and about Melv, too. I just hope he and Parsley don't start an eating competition and scoff all of your Christmas turkey, the pudding and the mince pies with cream ;)
ReplyDeleteAs to sleeping, well that sounds a great book to give humans, though maybe best read first thing in the morning around 3am; I find Mrs H is most pliable around that time, MOL

I am glad you and Melvyn had a good check up. You are doing great, Amber. I know what you mean about you and the PA walking like robots. I get the same with one of the side effects of my pills.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lovely book, and I could certainly do with tips on sleeping better!
The basket makeover looks lovely, and the nip cushions make it perfect.
Glad for your good vet report. Book sounds good. Thank you you for the book review. By the way, all the revamping you did looks great.
ReplyDeleteGreat napping refurb! A cute book, Amber...thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good book to read. We all need to recharge our batteries.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥
I am glad your vet trip went well. Will you be eating a prescription diet for CKD? That is very helpful. Great review, that looks like a good book. XO
ReplyDeleteWe think this is a good idea for a book but any time hoomans listen to us is good. Purrs you are doing well and you really look supurr for 17. Way to go
