Hello gorgeous library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ
Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today, and we're all rather upset today as we heard very sad news yesterday, one of our amazing blogging pals has died.
We are deeply saddened to lose such an epic friend, and he will be missed very much by all in the Cat Blogging community who knew him. He always brought a smile to your day, and was such a kind and generous soul who will be remembered with much fondness by all.
RIP Pete, mew will be terribly missed, but mew will never be forgotten and will always be remembered as an epically epic dude at BBHQ. We salute mew, and hope your new journey is filled with wonder and more kitties than mew could ever imagine!
Mew can visit his Obituary here, and leave a message on the tribute wall.

2. I find it difficult to choose a gift for _________.
3. Now that I've _________, I can _________.

The P.A.'s answers are...
1. I find it easy to choose a gift for my mum or dad.
2. I find it difficult to choose a gift for Josh.
3. Now that I've got The B Teams Christmas cards printed and delivered, I can get those sent out early next week and breathe a sigh of relief that's another task ticked off the list. I found it really hard to design a card this year, as I've been working on a computer that is ridiculously slow and uncooperative, and it makes doing any online work really, really unenjoyable. But so it goes, these things are sent to test us! LOL
4. I'm especially looking forward to relaxing this holiday season.
Today, as it's the last Friyay of the month, we're also joining in the furrbulous...
Melvyn was trying to get to the pigeon while watching Bite Sized Bird TV! MOL
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!

Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:
A fun present for cat lovers everywhere: a light-hearted self-help guide to help you live more like your cat
LET YOUR CAT BE YOUR LIFE COACH.
Do cats worry about their pension? Nope. Do cats take on work they don’t want to do? As if! Do cats rush around hectically when they’d rather be licking their paws and looking out of the window? Please.
Cats are free. They are calm, observant, wise, elegant, charismatic and proud. In fact, cats have found nothing less than the secret of how we should all live, whatever species we are!
So what did I think about How to Live Like Your Cat? I really enjoyed it, and being a cat understood all the points presented fully! MOL
This would be an ideal pressie this holiday season for stressed-out cat pawrents, who need a gentle reminder to live in the moment and be more cat.
In fact, it would be a purrfect read for anypurrdy whose life is constantly on the go and they never seem to get a chance to come up for air. Mindfulness and living in the now is always in vogue.
If mew feel a little harassed, frazzled, at your wit's end or just a little out of sorts trying to catch up with everything, or the best analogy I could give would be constantly chasing one's tail, this would be an epic addition to your to-read list.
Be More Cat and try this book.
A top paw recommendation from me.

It's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
Until next time...
Keep calm and read more books

We are just gutted about Dad Pete's passing, He was the most wonderful and kind man, and such a great friend to so many of us.
ReplyDeleteMelvyn, that is a good pigeon-watching pose. :)
And we will go and check out "How to Live Like Your Cat," Amber. Awesome review!
Losing Mr Pete ripped my heart apart:(
ReplyDeleteMelvyn sure thinks those birds are real, LOL!
We sure wish we could in reality live like a kitty!
It was a terrible shock to hear of Pete's passing. He was a good friend to so many of us and will be greatly missed.
ReplyDeleteIvor says Flynn taught me well because I do a lot of the things he used to do. (T don't go out catching mice though!) He says I even make the same grumbling noise he used to make on being woken when he wakes me for my early tablets.
Melvyn is very interested in that pigeon.
So sad about Pete's passing. We loved him and his kitties.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. I forgot all about them yesterday. I was so busy with Thanksgiving. Bugger.
I want to live like a cat too. Royalty.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Those were good fill-in answers and that does sound like a fun book. We're all so sad about Dad Pete, sad.
ReplyDeleteThe life of a housecat is pretty special!

ReplyDeleteMelvyn looks like he is camouflaging himself as a flamingo or an egret.
That's the cutest picture, Melvyn!!!
ReplyDeleteI am heartbroken about Pete and worried about his cats. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins. great answers.
