Hello meautiful library guests
and
Welcome to the Mewton-Clawson Library at BBHQ
Thank mew for joining me in the stacks today, and don't beleive the vicious rumours that were spread on The Midweek News; I was not sulking, I was just expressing an opinion and a right to not have my Sunday Snoozes ruined by being ambushed with an antibacterial eye wipe created just for cats.
I do not take kindly to having my eyes wiped at anytime, but while I'm relaxing in some furbulous warms it's definitely not the time to try it. In fact, no time is the right time to wipe my eyes, and I just noticed that my diary schedule is now completely chocker-block and there'll no eye wiping for the foreseeable future.
Anyloo, I hope mew're sitting down, because look where I was the other day. Yes indeed, I ventured outdoors.
I had a very brief amble outside under the gazebo, I inspected to the freshly placed table cloth, gave it my seal of approval and then went back indoors, as I had this weeks book to listen to, mew know it's a full-time job finding and reviewing books. But I think I do ok, all things considered; such as sleeping 20 hours a day, plus snacking and then a bit of brushing and other beauty treatments, but never eye wiping! MOL
1. I would ________________ for _________________.
2. The last ____________ I attended was ________________.
3. I can’t relax until _________.
4. I knew I needed _________ when _________.
The P.A.'s answers are...
1. I would love to go on holiday somewhere with a beautful beach, and very few people for a week. Sadly, that won't be happening for another decade or two! LOL
2. The last crystal fair/show I attended was Spring 2022. I've missed four this year so far, maybe I'll get to the next one in September.
3. I can’t relax until all the daily tasks and jobs are finished. And even then I'm thinking about what needs to be done next. It's like being on a hamster wheel that never stops! LOL
4. I knew I needed to reorganise my crystal room and craft room last month when I suddenly seemed to run out of space:-
Are all taking up lots of space because if I bring them into the house, Smooch will get his feng shui compass out and pee on anything that's not in the right place. The majority of the
Crafting with Cats projects live pee-free in the craft room, and The B Team seem to enjoy all their fun stuff when they join me while I'm sewing/making/mending/altering things.
I often discover them sleeping in the houses or snoozing in the flat-bed of Mog 1. I found Smooch upside down in Mog 1 on Tuesday afternoon, he loves everything, as long as it stays across the courtyard, or only comes into the house from a hour or so, before it's returned.
The only craft projects that stay in the house are the smaller toys which can be removed from floor level after playtime. If Smooch sees something in the house, that in his furry brain doesn't belong, he expresses his disppleasure by widdling on it.
Let's see what I've got to show mew this time!
This week's top book pick is...

Talisman Tales
A Nine Lives Magic Mystery
by
Danielle Garrett
Here's a little snippet of the book blurb:
The truth of what happened to Aunt Lavender has finally been dragged into the light—so why does everything feel darker than before?
With the help of Selene and an unexpected ally, we have one final mission to accomplish. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re not going down without a fight.
After last weeks review I thought I'd share book #6 in the Nine Lives Magic Mystery series because I needed to know what happened next, and if mew missed the reviews for books one, two, three, four and five, click the links below.
Talisman Tales, the sixth book in the Nine Lives Magic Mystery series by Danielle Garrett, is a thrilling conclusion to the main plot line since book one. Throughout the series, we follow the journey of our protagonist, Cora, who discovers she has magical powers and is on a mission to find her missing aunt Lavender.
After book fives'; one step forward, three to the side and four back for Cora, book six charges forward onto the home stretch finally. With Aunt Lavendar finally being found, but that's as much as I'm going to say on that matter! MOL (Mew know I detest to spoilerise things with any big details.)
The plot progression throughout the series is impressive, with each book building upon the last to create a cohesive and engaging storyline. The pacing is also well done, with plenty of action and suspense to keep the reader on the edge of their seat and the pages turning at a good rate.
The character development is one of the highlights of the series, with each character evolving and growing throughout the books. The protagonist, in particular, undergoes a significant transformation as she embraces her magical abilities and learns to use them to solve mysteries and help others.
Overall, Talisman Tales was a great read and with all loose ends tied up nicely and a sense of closure for the reader for that particular adventure, yet is it really the end for Selene and Cora?
If mew're a fan of magic, mystery, and strong female characters, then the Nine Lives Magic Mystery series is a must-read. A totally top paw book in my humble opinion, as the authors writing style is engaging and easy to follow, making this series perfect for readers of all ages.
I was sad to see it conclude... but great news furry book lovers, a new adventure awaits Cora and Selene in book seven, so mew know what I'm adding to my to read list today! MOL

I really hope mew enjoy the book as much as I did if mew decide to read it.
It's time for me to say BFN or bye-for-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week with another specially paw-picked book just for mew, and don't forget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
Until next time...
Keep calm and read more books
