Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library

Wow I can't believe a week has gone by so quickly, it seems like only yesterday I was here, time is doing some funny things right now.  

I was going to wait until next week to mention how our health-check went, but the good news is Melvyn and I are fine after our trip to the VETS on Wednesday morning.  Melvyn weighs 5.3kg, however he's still got a whole kilo to catch up with Sauce, though he did say he's going to going to go all out to be level with him in the next year... Yes, Melvyn is now bulking and going all in to meet that goal! MOL 

I've lost a little bit of weight and I do have arthritis and onset CKD, but given I'm 17 this is purrfectly normal for an elderly catizen like myself.  I do take CBD oil to help with the arthritis and some days I do walk like Robo-Cat but so it goes - though mew should see how the P.A. walks furst thing in the morning since her accident, it's like Darwin's Evolution during the furst couple of hours and she makes me look pawsitively fluid! MOL  [But for Cods Sake don't tell her I told mew that, or she'll be revoking my credits at Audible and I really don't want a rerun of last time!]

Anyhoo in other news, remember our basket on the landing; well it got a little make-over this week and as mew can see Melvyn got to try it furst!  It got a new lease of life with a white paint finish, a new supurr comfy cushion was made for the bottom, then a pom pom trimmed throw for the top with two small catnip pillows in matching fabric for extra comfort.

He says; it meets with his approval, and the P.A should have revamped it ages ago! MOL

Melvyn also has a bandanna and snuggle mat in the same fabric, though with different trim, click here to see.

 Furstly I bought this way back in February and actually furgot all about it until I was going through one of the 'unread' book piles in my library - OOPS!  So I thought I'd better get a wriggle on and review it this week! MOL

 I did another review by the same author a while ago, so check that out too.  

Anyhoo what did I think to this little book of wisdom for our pet hoomans? Though not a large book I thought it was fab and very funny in places. It has some lovely photo's of lots of different cats, and covers four different areas of life advice including; relationships, social minglings, climbing the corporate ladder and all about ones-self.  So it purretty much covers all aspects that mew could ever really need to relay to your hooman, which is really good as don't mew think that some hoomans over-complicate things? 

In fact, I would say that this would make the purrfect pressie for your hooman; my advice, buy it for Catmas, then a; mew've already took care of your shopping and b; mew've bought something thoughtful - the purrfect gift, so many levels of pawesome!

Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library

Mew may remember last week I told mew about the P.A.'s big clean up, well that is still in progress. Things got stalled as the P.A.'s schedule is stupidly busy at the moment, so my lovely library is still a complete tip, which as mew can imagine displeases me immensely.

But the good news is Pandora introduced me to the Joys of Yoga this week, so my stress levels are minimal, plus I got to sample some fresh catnip out of the garden, which was epic and even more epically epic than that I discovered a book I purrchased quite a while ago which has given me lots of ideas on how to deal with things should the P.A. fail to finish the big clean up this week! MOL

And on that note, I think it's time to share this weeks book.

This is my fierce face and mew may be wundering why I've chosen this purrticular expression in the photo, well today's book inspired me and I was purracticing the 'stink-eye' as described on page 22.    

Did I nail it? Of course I did! MOL

So what did I think about this book?  I did enjoy it, though the title is rather misleading as it's not all about plotting to kill your hooman. The section on plotting, I suggest mew don't read it in front of your pawrents, as this is strictly covert info and should actually come with a warning on saying 'CATS EYES ONLY' and there's even a nifty corresponding pull-out poster in the back, which I suggest mew keep and put somewhere safe fur future purrusals and ideas.

As I said it's not all about plotting, there are a few other sections within the book featuring: cartoons, things cats love and dealing with cat litter to name a few, though one chapter is about how to tell if your cat is gay; now some of mew may find this purrticular section funny and others may find it offensive - mew can make up your own mind about this chapter, should mew choose to take the plunge and get it.

 So the big question is, would I recommend this book to mew?  I would, as it's generally tongue in cheek, and quite funny in places.
