BlogPaws Conference Update #3 and Colouring with Cats #30 ~ Getting Your OM on with Mandalas on Mondays


Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furriends

Welcome to another Monday on the blog, and this week we've got a special post just fur mew.  As mew know the P.A. deserted us and flew off to sunny Myrtle Beach fur the BlogPaws Conference, well she got to go on rather a fabulous excursion with my epic bestie Herman's pawrents to a beautiful sculpture garden.

 Brookgreen Gardens was just a hop, skip and a jump from the hotel and well worth a visit.  It was a beautiful, bright sunny day so the photo's are a little washed out, sorry about that, the P.A. only took her phone with her, but we're sure mew can get the gist of the beauty, serenity and scale of these magnificent sculptures and the gardens they reside in.

 So let's get our Om On and our Zen Harmonies flowing as I take mew through a pictorial tour of the gardens.






I'd like to say a furry special thank mew to Kimberley and Ray Koz fur taking the P.A. and her mum on such a beautiful outing and fur not leaving the P.A. stranded on the roadside with 200,000 Harley Bikers trying to buy a T-Shirt fur Dad! MOL MOL MOL  [BTW Dad loved the T-Shirts!]

FYI the P.A. made another special mandala fur furriends who recently departed fur the Rainbow Bridge; 

 May they be frolicking in meadows of catnip and chasing flutterby's galore, though mew may be gone from this realm, mew will neffur be furgotten.

Colouring with Cats #29 ~ Getting Your OM on with Mandalas on Mondays


Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furriends

Welcome to another Monday on the blog.  Before we begin, mew all know that the P.A. is abandoning, sorry leaving us fur a trip to Blogpaws in the morning.  So while she's being utterly selfish, sorry having a big jolly, sorry going to be away wurking hard and meeting all your pawesome hoomans we're going to entertain mew with a series of our fun FlashBack Fever Posts and normal scheduling will resume on Friday 26th of May!

And we'll make sure that when she comes back, that the erratic commenting on our furriends blogs offur the last month will also be addressed and we'll be visiting mew all weekly as before, so many apologies fur her complete and utter pants admin - seriously we need more staff! MOL Ah we've just had a brainwave....

Job Opening @BionicBasil: 

We are a diverse team of uber kool kitties and we're seeking new staff fur blogging duties and general admin, if mew think mew'd fit in with our demanding schedule purrlease email your CV to:

The pay is, well if we're honest, not furry good [actually really crappy] but we grow the best catnip in the district and we often end up having the most wild adventures and getting shot at a lot [like loads].  We also have a secret bunker full of military vehicles, weapons and other paraphernalia to which the right candidate will get full access, oh and mew get to drive a tank - if that's not incentive enough then we don't know what is! MOL

Anyhoo, if mew'd like to join The B Team drop us a line, and we can purromise mew this; your life will neffur be the same!

Anyhoo let's get effuryone supurr chilled fur the week ahead and especially fur those travelling to Blogpaws as we know how hectic the preparation is.

 Let's begin with our little breathing exercise, we're sure mew know what to do but if mew've furgotten: purrlease take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:

Let all the frustrations of the last few days dissipate and concentrate on the fun coming up in the next few days.  If mew furget to pack something, don't stress mew probably didn't need it anyway... 


... be like Smoochie and get those Zen Harmonie levels right up in the uber chill zone, mew'll be so glad mew did! MOL

Colouring with Cats #28 ~ Getting Your OM on with Mandalas on Mondays ~ Plus Memorial Mandala for Flynn and Rumpy


Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furriends

Welcome to another week on the blog and we hope mew've had a fabulously chilled weekend. 

Mew know the blog'o'sphere has been filled with so much heartbreak the last few months with so many pawesome pals departing fur The Rainbow Bridge including our furry own Snowie and Humphrey, who both now have their beautiful wings.  Well this got us thinking about the heartache, loss and stress of grieving fur our beloved fursibs and how it affects us.

 We had a meeting in the bunker and decided that when the P.A. returns from Blogpaws in Myrtle Beach we're going to do a special Crafting with Cats post on how to make a furry purrsonal memorial fur those that have departed. As we think that by making a beautiful keepsake that mew can display in your home will help with the grieving and release all those emotions as mew'll be investing them into something new rather than physically hanging onto them, because consciously or even subconsciously holding onto sadness and grief only serves to weaken our immune systems and that my dearest furriends is no good fur anypurrdy.  

Anyhoo enough of the sadness, let's get mew feeling all nicely relaxed fur the next few days, so if mew're upset, tense or stressed we will assist mew in getting your Zen Harmonies happening and that fuzzy feeling of zen-ness back.

 Let's begin with our little breathing exercise, we're sure mew know what to do but if mew've furgotten: purrlease take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:

Breathe out

Just let all those thoughts racing around at a gazillion miles an hour go, imagine them slipping into the ether and dissolving like a vapour trail until they've completely gone. Think of blue-skies, sandy beaches and waves lapping softly on the pristine white sand, feel the warmth on your fur and breathe deeply, letting effurything go.... all mew can hear is the azure blue ocean as it gently kisses the velveteen sand beneath your paws, the gentle rustling of the palm trees and the sweet songs of the birds above... effurything is at peace, effurything is just as it should be... just be and enjoy the moment.

Amber, Parsley and Smoochie are doing just that right now!

And what a great job they're all doing.

This week Merlin's mum Alice, who has been our resident guest colourist fur the last few weeks, did another amazing colour combo this week - Thank mew so much Alice, we really think today's mandala is just a wunderpurr colour kaleidoscope!!!
