Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furiends
A long time ago we shared Melvyn attacking the Cactus scratch post, well if mew look at the picture in the post mew'll notice that the bottom is covered in a beige/brown shagpile fabric, and we decided that we really didn't like it that much and needed to do something about it stat.
So we headed into the craft room and found some pom poms thinking that it might look quite funky and it did, but sadly we didn't have enough and so we went for option two, a nice verdant grass effect with some faux fur we had in stock and then we decided to change how the cacti were situated for a bit of variety too! MOL
What do mew think, is it improved or did mew like the beige shagpile more?
We would have really liked to do the pom poms but mew see those in pic 1, that's £33.00 worth and we'd probably need as many again to do it propurrly and we don't think £66.00 of poms poms is justifiable, that amount buys a lot of cat food and treats, and we know what we'd sooner have and it's not pom poms! MOL
Anyhoo, we do hope mew've all had a totally pawesome weekend, and that mew're ready for the week ahead, so let's jump right in and start as always with our little breathing exercise, which we're sure mew all have down paw by now... but if mew've forgotten, stop what mew're doing for a moment and take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:
Breathe in
Breathe out
Breathe in
Breathe out
Breathe in
Breathe out
Smooch is here again to offer mew assistance in getting your OM's on and Zen Harmonies happening, so just press play, close your eyes and follow his instructions.
Don't mew feel better already? I know we do!
Right-click to save and/or print the mandala.
And here's our finished version... this week we decided to use a warm, sunny palette mixed with cool blues and sparkling aqua tones.
We really like this colour combo, what do mew think?
Don't forget mew can download** our free Colouring with Cats here:- Books One, Two, Three, and Four.
So on that note, we'll say bye for now and look forward to your company on Wednesday when we're back with all the latest gossip in the BBHQ Midweek News Round-Up.
Until then

I like the makeover on the cactus scratcher. Maybe glue on a few pompoms as pebbles, but certainly not that much money's worth.
ReplyDeleteThanks for encouraging us to relax!
I prefer the green, £66 would be a lot to spend on pompoms.
