Sunday greetings wunderpurr furriends
Today we're experiencing the joys of outdoor climbing; fences, trees, gates, mill-wheel cakes and the like. There's nothing like scaling a tree and perching ones derriere amid the foliage and stalking flying snak packs!
So our theme today is:
Climbing Cats
Apart from Angel Posie, who only effur managed to climb into her bed, and even that was touch and go at times! MOL MOL MOL
Smoochie is a remarkable tree climber given that he only has 3 legs, in the photo today he'd managed to get about 25ft up the Scotch pine when the P.A. stumbled across his sneaky excursion and asked him to report to me immediately in the secret bunker fur a debriefing and a health & safety review [He was not best purrleased!]
Even Grumpy, sorry Humphrey got in on the action [but only aftur bribery of the ice cream kind]. Snowie likes to amble atop the fence as does Parsley, and Amber keeps things a little more stable by mountaineering up the mill-wheel cake [4 tiers tall], that's as high as she goes.
In our younger years, we used to get on the house roof much to the P.A.'s horror but as we've matured we realised that unless we're wearing parachutes, it's probably best not to do it.
What's your favourite perch?
Also, I must apologise fur having a dirty nose, I was doing things I shouldn't but don't tell anyone...
Happy climbing
Bestest Sunday purrs

You guys all look like you had lots of fun with your selfies this week! Out here, it's too hot to go outside, so we're lazing around with the A/C on.
ReplyDeleteAwwww Summer that's no good, but at least mew've got the A/C to keep ones fur nicely chilled! XOX
DeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! XOX
DeleteHi Basil, looks like you all been scaling the heights. I did climb a tree last week all the way to the top, but peep informs me that as it had actually fallen over, that doesn't count! Personally I think peeps is just jealous! purrs from your currently drying off pal. ERin
ReplyDeleteErin we had a blast, and tell your peep that it doesn't matter if the tree was horizontal or vertical mew still conquered it! MOL XOX
DeleteWow, you kitties are like professional climbers! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGuys we do our bestest! MOL XOX
DeleteYou are all doing lots of good climbing with varying degrees of difficulty. I used to climb anything, the higher the better, but now the top of my cat tree is as high as I go.
ReplyDeleteFlynn, sometimes the cat tree is all mew need to fulfil the desire to climb! XOX
DeleteGreat climbing selfies.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! XOX
DeleteThose rooftops reminded meowmy of her visits to The Netherlands, MOL! Lots of climbing kitties there, too:)
ReplyDeleteYou kitties have great athletic skills with all those climbing expeditions!
Thanks Pippo & Minko, yes those roofs are a little Netherlands-esque!
DeleteWe train hard to keep our climbing skills honed, yet Smooch trains hardest of us all though due to his tripawed nature XOX
The most that we can climb is our inside cat tree. We wish we could climb a real tree someday.
ReplyDeleteGuys, sometimes a cat-tree is all mew need and I can say that indoor climbing is more fun especially on a wet day! MOL XOX
DeleteAaaaaaaw Basil you all look adventurous and gawjus. Me's favorite perch used to be da top of da cat tree, but me's new sisfur has just discovered it and in da spirit of sharin', at least fur a little while, me's lettin' her have it.
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'
Dezi and Raena
Dezi that's most thoughtful of mew to let your new sisfur have the top perch, mew have such a beautiful kind heart! XOX
DeleteWow, do they make kitty parachutes? If not, I guess you'll be staying off the roof.
ReplyDeleteGuys, they do make parachutes fur cats as mew'll see in our latest 10 part saga - Fast, Furry & Dangerous - coming soon! MOL XOX
DeleteI like climbing. When I was younger I used to climb the walls!
ReplyDeletePurrs xx
Athena
Oh wow Athena, mew possess some serious NINJA SKILLZ!!!! Pawesome!!! XOX
DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI just read your article. Thanks for sharing that, I learned a lot from it! By the way, which would you recommend, sisal or carpeted scratching material? It’s something I get asked quite often from my own blog’s readers (http://www.cattree.uk), and I would love to know what you might think of it. Thanks,
Jon
