Colouring with Cats #31 ~ Getting Your OM on with Mandalas on Mondays


Supurr Monday greetings beautiful furriends

Welcome to another Monday on the blog, and we do hope mew've all had a supurr chilled weekend are are ready fur the week ahead.

Oh and guess what?  The P.A. finally managed to comment on all your pawesome blogs yesterday, we made her sit in the office [chained her to the desk] and visit all our pawesome pals, and we must say we just luffed catching up on effurypurrdy's posts, mew guys have been having a ball!

So aftur all that vicarious excitement we're ready to get our OM on, are mew?

So let's start with our little breathing exercise, which we're sure mew all have down paw by now...  but if mew've furgotten, stop what mew're doing fur a moment and take deep fulfilling breaths; counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale:

Breathe in
Breathe out

Breathe in
Breathe out

Breathe in
Breathe out

Don't mew feel better already?

And be like young Fudge yesterday....


...who had his OM on so much he was almost in a kitty coma!!! MOL

So without further adieu here's this weeks mandala.

Coloured by the P.A. while she was thinking about creativity, hence the red, orange, yellow & pink palette.  And if mew're into your chakras, here's a supurr quick lowdown: Red is the colour of the root chakra.  Orange is the colour of the sacral chakra.  Yellow is the colour of the solar plexus, and pink [or green] is the colour of the heart chakra. 

 So all these colours combined can enhance your creativity, well-being and zen harmonies, especially the orange!  The red is fur grounding and also passion, the yellow is fur happiness & intellect, and pink is fur harmony & love.  

 If mew feel the need to meditate on any of those things print off the coloured one and stick it somewhere mew can see it often, so it resonates deep within mew.

MOL we just noticed that the P.A. missed colouring the top left fan with a gorgeous shade of pink - OOPS - ah well that's her being put out of the cat-flap tonight - shame on mew P.A. our advice is; get some new glasses!!! MOL

    This one is so beautiful! We love the colors the PA chose to color it. Very peaceful.

      Thanks so much Lola, the P.A. likes to try different colour palettes, although halfway through colouring this one, she said to me, "Basil I think it looks horrid!" So I replied with, "Keep going it'll be fine!" MOL and it turned out luffley!! XOX

      Hey Seville, mew know if mew want a blog job doing use the desk chain so they can't escape... mew know what peeps are like, attention span of a gnat. Us cats need serious staff, not some flutterby-brain who get's distracted at the furst sign of anything sparkly or by all the other jobs that need doing!!! BTW your lawyer sounds like he has some smarts!!! XOX

    Oh, the irony, of little Fudge doing the "OMMing" ... since he's usually the one ensuring no one is "OMMing." Though, I admit those photos of him are 3,210% adorable ... that belly, that tail, the folded paws ... umm ... where was I?
