Welcome To
With Amber ~ The Best Library Kitty in the entire Mewton~Clawson Parish.
*waves paw*
Hello gorgeous library guests and welcome to my private library.
Now mew may be wondering what I'm doing peering under the rug this morning!
Well we've had some torrential rain the last few days and the house has had an influx of spiders, and there's one hiding out under the rug, and I'm just waiting for his to come out so I can ask him:
How long is he planning on staying?
Is he going to be paying rent? [Easy cash for books]
Did he invite any other furmily memfurs to join him?
And if so, how many can we expect?
Do they need separate rooms?
And are there any special dietary requirements needed? etc... etc... etc...
Anyhoo enough of spiders, today is my second to last post which makes me sad, but then I do need a vay-cay or stay-cay as it's really a high-pressure gig running a library, but neffur fear I plan on spending my time off acquiring lots of new books to share with mew later in the year. Parsley has already taken even more extreme measures in hiding his credit card from me, but as The Borg say, Resistance is futile! MOL MOL
This week we're also joining in Friday Fill-ins with the pawesome 15 & Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs.
1. __________________ motivates me to __________________.
2. I put salt on _________________.
3. When it comes to _________, I don’t cut corners.
4. Never forget _________.
The P.A.'s answers are...
1. Improving things motivates me to do more and try harder.
2. I put salt on chips, the ones from the fish and chip shop. I cook with salt, and I also use it to make body-scrubs with essential oils. And it has been known on occasion to be used across doorways to keep away malevolence.
3. When it comes to safety whether, at work, home, or the cats, I don’t cut corners.
4. Never forget the sacrifices of our grandparents - my generation/age-group - made fighting two world wars.
And now I think it's time to share this weeks book.
This week I'm sharing
by
Lisa S. Roberts
Here's The Book Blurb:
When noted design collector and published author Lisa S. Roberts discovered her new shelter cat climbing, jumping, rubbing and sleeping on her contemporary furniture and products, rather than freaking out, she began snapping photos. This became the inspiration for this whimsical and lavishly illustrated book. Mr. Waffles, a sleek black Burmese cat, offsets the bright colorful designs by world-famous architects and designers. Each spread includes original photography of cat and design, a brief informative description, and a humorous observation or comment by critic Mr. Waffles.
>^.^<
**Furstly I have to let mew all know that I was given a free copy of this book in e-format in exchange for a fair review**
Mr. Waffles is a furry handsome house panther who has a penchant for design and loves investigating, trying, clawing and examining all the cool stuff in his staffs' house.
In fact, I think I should say: Kool Stuff For Kool Kats
My absolute favourite picture is of Mr. Waffles sitting proudly atop a spiral bookcase which resembles a shell-shape; the book is worth getting just for one picture that in my humble opinion! MOL
There are some many amazing and clever designs throughout the book whether furniture, art or lighting which are made even better by Mr. Waffles presence. If mew love design and cats this is definitely for mew, as it's a really beautiful book.
I loved admiring all the lovely things, so if mew're a fan of supurr kool stuff and even cooler kats, I'd recommend this 100%. It would make a purrfect gift too.
Many thanks to Mr. Waffles for letting me review his book, and if mew're on Instagram mew can follow Mr. Waffles by clicking: @mrwaffleslovesdesign.

Sadly it's time fur me to say BFN or bye-fur-now as mew know the drill, so many books, so little time and I'll be back next week for my final round-up post of the current season before I go on my summer vacation or as I like to call it, my jolly hollies. And don't furget that all my previous reviews can be found on my Book Review page.
Until next time
