Mew know I had a couple of options lined up for this week, all neatly stacked and ready for me to flick open with a casual paw. And then… disaster. Or delight. Or both. I casually went to Audible, fatal on any day of the week, and to my absolute astonishment, today’s book was sneakily sitting there, buried among twenty‑five pages of results after searching for the word “cat.”
And by one of my all‑time favourite feline‑fiction authors, Leighann Dobbs, and it's brand new!!!
Before I even knew what had happened, one of my nine remaining credits vanished, the book downloaded itself like a stealthy ninja, and I had already pressed play! MOL
When I say my whiskers were trembling with delight as the story began, I mean trembling. Because it’s been almost a year to the day, well, almost (ten days early!), since I reviewed the final book in the:
