Furbulous Sunday greetings furiends
Welcome to another BBHQ selfie selection, and today the whole gang is here sharing:
The B Team's Giant's Causeway Selfie
After last week's King Arthur encounter, I asked The B Team, "Dudes, and dudettes, where harkens on the horizon?" Roughly translated, 'Where to next?' MOL
Anyhoo, after a vote, it was decided that The Emerald Isle was the #1 spot, and what better than to visit the Giant's Causeway!
It seems like we're doing a bit of a tour of the U.K., so stay tuned for next week's epically epic destination.
Here's a little bit of info:
The Giant's Causeway is a natural wonder located in Northern Ireland. This unique geological formation consists of thousands of hexagonal basalt columns that look like a giant staircase leading into the sea. Legend has it that the columns were formed by a giant named Finn McCool, who built them as a bridge to cross over to Scotland.
Regardless of the legend's truth, it's undeniable that the Giant's Causeway is a stunning sight to behold. The columns vary in size and shape, with some towering over 40 feet tall. Mew can walk along the tops of the columns and take in the breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding cliffs.
But the beauty of the Giant's Causeway is not just limited to its physical appearance. It's also home to a diverse range of plant and animal life, including rare species of orchids and seabirds - and no we didn't sample any of the latter! MOL The area has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognizing its importance in both natural and cultural history.
If mew ever have the opportunity to visit Northern Ireland, the Giant's Causeway is a must-see destination. It's a unique and awe-inspiring natural wonder that will leave mew with memories to last a lifetime.
We're also joining in Athena's Fabulous Art Hop so do stop by and show off your pawesome arty-farty skills.
The effect was created with the ios Prisma App, and we used the effect:- rollercoaster plus changes to shadows, then we added a vignette filter to darken the edges while keeping the brightness in the centre of the picture.
We also turned this fab arty-farty picture into a puzzle, so do stop by the puzzle page and take the Puzzle Challenge, see if mew can beat our time of 9 mins 31 secs.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
