Epic Greetings Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
It's been another lovely week at BBHQ. The weather has been glorious and reached a decidedly heady 22 degrees Celsius on Friday, although since then the temperature has been dropping, and apparently the U.K. is getting a 'HORROR, MEGA STORM' on Wednesday, according to some news outlets.
Therefore, we'll be battening down the hatches and going into the bunker if that's the case! MOL
And just look at this moon.
This was on Caturday evening at about 8:50 pm, it was amazing.
Oh, and just look at these two heathens below.
They'd just had snacks, visited the watering hole and were off to cruise around the garden.
There are three now, so we'll see if we can get a photo of them all together.
We love all the bright colours. There are still plenty more to bloom, so we'll update mew next week, and hopefully the 'Horror, Mega Storm' won't have decimated them! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's headlines.

First up in the news this week...
Fudge Loving The Warms
Fudge was enjoying pootling around the garden the other day, and he paused while perched on this rock to soak up some of the warmth and recharge his batteries! MOL
Next up in the news...
Parsley's Sitting in The Flower Box
There is a small free-standing flower box positioned at the back of the sofa under the gazebo, which the P.A. puts bedding plants in for the summer. Yet, Parsley thought it would be a great idea to sit in it, and if mew follow his gaze, we can tell mew he was looking straight at Smooch who was reclined on the sofa! MOL

In other news...
Smooch Daydreaming in The Lounge
This was Smooch on Monday evening. He was having a huge daydreaming session, and when asked what he was daydreaming about, he said, and I quote, "I was wondering how hard it would be for me to become a celebrity chef!"
Yep, we had no words for that, either! MOL
And finally, this week
Melvyn's Modelling The Top Bandana Pick
Last week mew voted for the Sping Freshness bandana; it won by one vote!
Doesn't he look adorable?
Oh, and Melvyn says. "Don't look at the heap of catnip in front of me, that was Fudge!" MOL
YEAH, of course it was! MOL
Which one should he model next?
Here's the brand new April Bandana collection, hot off the sewing machine in the BBHQ Craft Room. These were made on Monday teatime under the expert eye of Fudge, who was hanging around the craft room and needed a distraction.
As spring is now officially here, we chose some more colourful and bright bandanas for this month.
The April Collection:
1. Ballooning with Furiends* ~ Blue
2. Spring Freshness
3. Peony Purrfection
4. Cute Pink Cats
5. Blooming Marvellous
Tell us your top pick for next week in the comments!
*Melvyn modelled the Ballooning with Furiends with a white background last September, and we've been waiting to make the blue version since then. We just checked out the videos we posted in September, and there's a really cute 'get ready with me' where he's prepping for the catwalk run; OMC, it's so cute!
That's us done for today.
Amber will be back on Friday with another pawesome book, and if mew missed any other posts, here are the links:
Smooch's Selfie
Check out the latest episodes of The Purrminator, as tomorrow we'll be back with Chapter Twenty Three in Melvyn's epically epic, supurr exciting origin story:
Hoping mew have a furbulous day, and remember to always...

That moon is amazing and the flowers are beautiful. Hey B--Team, you got your mighty fine on today!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely photo of the setting sun, and the flowers are lovely too. We had torrential rain and strong winds all day yesterday and through the night, but not classed as a storm. Today and tomorrow is forecast good, ideal for planting some of the bedding which has been hardening off, except that the complete garden is now waterlogged!
ReplyDeleteI can see by his face how much Fudge is enjoying the sun. Lovely photos of Parsley, Smooch and Melvyn too.
Peonies, for sure!

Looking good Melvyn and I love that shot of Smooch. XO
ReplyDeleteThat moon is amazing, and all of you kitties and hedgehogs and flowers sure look great. How about some balloons next week, Melvyn?
ReplyDeleteStay safe with that storm coming in, dear pals. XO
I'm glad things are warming and blooming and hope the storm proves to be just a bit of wind and rain, but nothing horrible.
ReplyDeleteMelvyn, great work!
Fudge, I made it out on the catio Tues morn and we had bitter cold and leaves flying every which way in the dark, but I held fast to my pink rug fur awhile. Melvyn, we luv the pose and vote fur balloons.
