Furbulous Greetings Supurr Furiends
Welcome to the BBHQ midweek news round-up!
Firstly, we must apologise for missing last week's blog hops. Life, the universe, and everything seriously got in the way of our blogging time. In fact, we were lucky to get any posts done at all. We'll try to catch up on the weekend, like we normally do, so again, apologies for failing rather dismally last week.
It's been another delightfully warm week at BBHQ. Blue skies, no rain again, mild breezes to tickle the leaves and ruffle our fur—in fact, it's been lovely. However, the weather for the Bank Holiday weekend coming up is supposedly rain, rain, and more rain. Not that we're complaining, as it has been a rather dry winter, just as long as it doesn't flood anywhere.
I know we've mentioned this tree many times before, and it's the one Fudge likes to climb. Anyhoo, the other day, the P.A. noticed it was in full bloom. It blooms every year, but for some strange reason, the P.A. went to smell the flowers, which she couldn't remember ever doing before. (Maybe she has, but just can't remember! MOL)
And OH MY COD, the scent is utterly divine, if mew know what frangipani smells like, this aroma is like a milder, less heady version. So guess where the P.A is lurking at the moment, yep under the tree!
Another BBHQ rose is blooming too, just look at this.
More Luscious Lupins at BBHQ
And the little bee is loving it!
We're also really happy that the huge blue aphids of doom haven't appeared to decimate the lupins yet this year! MOL
Anyhoo, let's look at this week's top headlines.

Ooh, look at all the beautiful flowers at your place! They're almost as epically good-looking as all of you. We'd like to see you in blue daisies next week, Melvyn. XO
ReplyDeleteYour garden is a delight, I'm glad every cat is enjoying the warmth of the days and Melvyn, this bandana looks fabulous on you. I'd love to see the blue daisies next week.
ReplyDeleteYou sure do have a gorgeous garden. I also like the blue daisy bandana.
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for the Blue Daisies! It is nice to see everyone out enjoying the weather. The tree and the flowers look lovely. We had showers through the night and this morning. Sun again Thursday and Friday, then light rain on Saturday. We do need the rain because after a month of dry sunny weather the reservoir is getting low.
ReplyDeleteAwww, so many adorable kitties. So precious.
ReplyDeleteI pick #3 for next week. I know I'm right.
I linked this post to Wordless Wednesday.
