**SUPURR SPOOKY CRAFTING WITH CATS** **RERUN ~ PART FOUR** How We Made The Gordon the Ghost Spooktacular Meowoleen Snuggle Mat

Welcome to
A festive Halloween-themed collage from BBHQ’s “Crafting with Cats” features seven expressive felines surrounded by pumpkins, streamers, stars, and paw prints against a wooden-textured backdrop. Central text reads “Crafting with Cats Halloween Special,” while a speech bubble from the top-right cat aka Basil, declares, “Let’s make something epic!” The scene bursts with colour and whimsy, blending feline charm with seasonal creativity. Perfect for Halloween cat crafts, DIY pet-themed content, and spooky storytelling from www.bionicbasil.com

In today's Crafting with Cats, we're making:

Gordon the Ghost Spooktacular Meowoleen Snuggle Mat

Handmade ghost-shaped snuggle mat crafted from white fabric with black stitched eyes and a jagged mouth, designed for Halloween-themed pet comfort. Displayed on a wooden surface, this spooky yet cozy mat is part of BBHQ’s Supurr Spooky Crafting with Cats series from www.bionicbasil.com

Symmetrical Halloween-themed divider featuring black bats with purple eyes, white ghosts with raised arms, glowing jack-o'-lanterns, and a central black witch’s hat with an orange buckle. Perfect for spooky blog sections, festive craft tutorials, and seasonal storytelling from www.bionicbasil.com’s Supurr Spooky Crafting with Cats series

What We Used:

White felt fabric

Black felt fabric

Scissors ~ Sewing Machine ~ Cotton Thread in white & black

Symmetrical Halloween-themed divider featuring black bats with purple eyes, white ghosts with raised arms, glowing jack-o'-lanterns, and a central black witch’s hat with an orange buckle. Perfect for spooky blog sections, festive craft tutorials, and seasonal storytelling from www.bionicbasil.com’s Supurr Spooky Crafting with Cats series

Let's Get Started

First, we suggest measuring one of your kitties to see how big your fabric needs to be, as not all kitties are the same size.

Side-by-side photos showing how to create a symmetrical ghost pattern for a Halloween pet craft. In the first panel, brown paper is folded with a ghost outline drawn along the edge, held by purple fabric weights. In the second panel, the paper is unfolded to reveal a symmetrical ghost shape, ready for use in BBHQ’s Gordon the Ghost Snuggle Mat tutorial at www.bionicbasil.com

1. Next, take your paper and cut out a ghostly pattern. We suggest folding your paper in half, as this way mew get more symmetry.

2. Open it up to check that it looks ghostly enough.

Four-photo collage showing steps in making a padded ghost-shaped snuggle mat for cats. Image 3 shows white felt with a ghost pattern pinned on top; image 4 shows the felt cut into shape. Image 5 shows two felt pieces with wadding sandwiched between, pinned along the edges. Image 6 shows the ghost shape being sewn together on a sewing machine using an overlock-style stitch at www.bionicbasil.com

3. Cut out 2 x ghost shapes on the white felt.

4. & 5. Cut out 1 x ghost shape on the wadding. Sandwich the wadding between the two pieces of felt and pin them in place, so now mew essentially have a ghostly sammich! MOL MOL

6. Sew all the way around the edge; we used an overlock-style stitch. Trim off any excess wadding around the edges if any is sticking out. Just be careful not to snip the stitching.

Three-photo collage showing steps in adding a face to a ghost-shaped snuggle mat. Image 7 shows black felt cutouts for eyes and a jagged mouth on a wooden surface. Image 8 shows the felt pieces pinned onto a white ghost-shaped fabric. Image 9 shows a sewing machine stitching the black felt mouth onto the ghost mat at www.bionicbasil.com

7. Next, cut out 2 x eyes and a mouth out of the black felt; these shapes are entirely up to mew.

8. & 9.  Pin eyes and mouth to the ghost, and sew with the same overlocking stitch.

And now mew should have something that looks like this, minus Melvyn trying to squeeze the stuffing right out of poor Gordon! MOL #OOPS #Heathen

Melvyn, the tabby and white cat lying on a woven jute rug, interacting with a white ghost-shaped snuggle mat featuring black felt eyes and a jagged mouth. Melvyn holds the mat with his front paws, giving it a damn good kicking, in fun of course! MOL The scene is set on a wooden floor and showcases the completed Halloween-themed pet craft from BBHQ at www.bionicbasil.com

So we do hope mew enjoyed how to make Gordon the Ghost, and just to prove Melvyn isn't always a total heathen fur-child with the hashtag #thuglife proudly displayed on his fav badge, here he is being adorable in his Meowoleen outfit.

Melvyn, a tabby and white cat, stands on a wooden floor near a glass door wearing a festive Halloween wizard costume. He sports a small black witch hat with an orange band and a bright orange collar decorated with ghost and pumpkin motifs. The scene captures a whimsical and seasonal moment from BBHQ’s Supurr Spooky Crafting with Cats series at www.bionicbasil.com

Doesn't he look epically adorable in his wizard's costume!

And that epic furiends furry sadly brings us to the end of our fourth Halloween Rerun post. We do hope mew liked it, and we'll be back tomorrow with more epic cat crafts and again on Wednesday with more Midweek News

Until then....
