The Sunday Selfies and Caturday Art Blog Hops at BBHQ **FEATURING** Smooch's Damp Crystal Room Selfie

Four BBHQ cats sit at the heart of a vibrant autumn collage filled with pumpkins, sunflowers, glowing lanterns, red and orange leaves, and woodland friends like a hedgehog and a squirrel. Polaroid‑style cat snapshots are scattered around them, all framed by rich fall foliage beneath a wooden “Sunday Selfies” sign, creating a cosy and festive October scene.

An epic selfie starring BBHQ's tripawed supurrstar, Smooch!

Supurr greetings, pawesome furiends

Welcome to BBHQ on this delightful Sunday and to November!

Our little tripawed heathen, Smooch decided today was his day to share.

Smooch's Damp Crystal Room Selfie

Smooch, a white cat with black markings and slightly damp, ruffled fur, sits on a black rug in the BBHQ Crystal Room, wearing his red collar and looking thoughtfully to the right. His fur is still damp after wandering through the dew-laden raised garden beds. Behind him, a magnificent purple amethyst geode sparkles beside shelves of crystals, books and fresh flowers, creating a cosy indoor setting for his Sunday Selfie. ©BionicBasil®

He had just been in the raised beds in the courtyard that were covered in morning dew, pushing through all the plants, hence his dampness - don't ask me why; perhaps he was checking on the meautiful dahlias!!!

Smooch has very fixed opinions about things!

Anyhoo, the P.A. was cleaning up in the crystal room when he appeared and asked her to stop whatever she was doing immediately and carry him over the courtyard into the house for snacks.

Of course he got his elevated escort and some epic snacks! MOL

Artified in a Van Gogh-inspired oil painting style, the scene features bold, swirling brushstrokes, vibrant blues, greens, golds and purples. We're off to do a bit of snoopervising in the garden, as last weekend the wind blew everything everywhere, and the pond was full of leaves, which blocked the pumps, so it was cleaned on Friday night, and the pumps were cleared. The final bulbs went in yesterday, and the pots were moved to their winter position.

The new palms have to be wrapped up for the winter, so the P.A. ordered horticultural fleece and zip protector covers for the palm fronds, since they are in pots and apparently more vulnerable like this... who knew! MOL

Mew know it never stops!!!

In the meantime, we hope mew have a totally furbulous day, and remember to always...
